Western Australia v South Australia
At Adelaide Oval

Well another MWPP masterclass has seen us solidify top spot in the standings after two rounds of Series XIX, with a three goal victory in what ended up becoming a shootout at Adelaide Oval putting us a win and significant percentage clear of second spot and keeps us well and truly in the hunt. It was an arm wrestle early, but an eight goal blitz in the second quarter saw us open up a handy lead that would amount to an 18 point win as we wrought revenge on the croweaters on their home deck.

Dour in defence - Hard to go past TY24 whose run and dash off half back gave us plenty of good looks & drive from D50 as he collected 20 disposals and 5 marks in one of his best performances in a state jumper.

Midfield maestro - MWPP was once again best afield and instrumental in the win. Her 26 possession, 5 goal reminiscent of the brilliance of the one and done estibador, which will forever live in WA State of Origin folklore as arguably the greatest ever game by a West Australian. The connection between her and big bullocking ruckman BLUEALLTHRU who absolutely dominated the ruck contest is a beauty to behold.

Fearsome up front - serial_thrilla proved to be a handful up front for the croweaters, his lively 13 touch, 2 goal effort on a flank saw him cash in, while CursingFijian kicked two goals straight from limited opportunity in his WA return.
