Oh and if I’m omitted after my effort last game , I’ll be fuming . Thankfully my captain has my back .

Difficult game to predict but really I Dont Care , to quote the name of an esteemed Allies team mate.

There are some questions for both teams.

For the Wozzie Wobblies, can their skipper Tarkyn_24 overcome his allergy to kicking goals? Will Tarks and the Wobbly leadership group include CazC30 to strengthen a team that lucked in a win v the Allies?

If Caz is included it will not be at the expense of Metalcrusher who was reported yesterday for trying to rename B52 as B60. Lying through my surviving albeit cracked tooth I managed to help the star avoid suspension. No, it is understood that Caz will replace MWPP . The Wobbly SLG has suspended the ebullient forward after she broke curfew for a night of karaoke with Dingster

Strange days indeed for the Vic Metrognomes. As an insomniac I have been out and about visiting early openers. There I spied various cabals of surly metros sipping their soy lattes and muttering darkly to themselves.

I managed to overhear some of the conversations. Most of these concerned how NaturalDisaster came to be their Lemming-in-Chief leader. There were also concerns expressed about selection policies and whether it was better if Barrybran or JoshWoodenSpoon ran the game. There seemed to be total agreement that some fella called Dumbarse should be nowhere near the sim.

In a nondescript Jolimont caf, I saw a solitary beez staring with distaste at his reflection in the mirror. He was jibber jabbering complaints about Tony Lynn 15 and why he was always in teams with weird leadership groups.

Though it will be a yawnfest, I expect there will be some interest. A small crowd of embarrassed mums and dads will likely watch on.

This is why you didn’t win the EKA.

Oh hi Cakey

Good question

How about this, best us and I’ll let you know what I listened to. Thankfully, I won’t have to remember.
I'll give you this your banters improved

Hi Sandgropers. How are you this fine Thursday morning?

Oh wait... Time zones. Shit.

Fix your damn clocks.

I'm in melbourne.

My missus is in the Alfred waiting for surgery in the challenging Vic metro healthcare system.

I've only been here since 6am yesterday waiting.

All the best for her surgery and recovery
I hope you spoil her with plenty of cake as soon as she’s well enough to and able to appreciate it

That is hard. The Alfred is a fine hospital though. Best wishes for your better half.

Hi Baz

Please riddle me this. Why do WAers suffer home sickness at a much higher rate than people from civilised states? Are you all really that ******* soft?
It’s the distance factor . I’m facing a move next month and getting to other states on the Eastern seaboard is going to be far easier than flying back to Perth. Also why players who move from the East to WA also seem to suffer from homesickness .

Do you even know what homesickness is? That requires you actually leaving home to experience.

Nice OP TIF.

First off, Western Australia? Never heard of it. What sort of rinky-dink, tiny, uninspired and lazy state calls themselves that. I guarantee no-one of any worth has ever come from there.

Secondly, what the **** is that strip? That has to be the ugliest bloody combination of colours. Yellow and Black? Yeah OK, good one lads.

Secondly MKII, a black swan? Like they exist. Might as well have called yourselves the unicorn. Absolutely make believe, just like your skills and credentials.

Thirdly, am I on their team? No? Then they can get stuffed. Irrelevant.

Fifthly, have you had a look at the quality in this Vic Metro side? They have the current EKA winner................. What a side.

Sexthly, we have an absolutely amazing captain. One who will stick by their team. One that won't abandon us and leave us feeling cold and betrayed JoshWoodenSpoon . Kophi goes alright too.

Seventhheaventhly, MWPP, it has been brought. With vigor and a dash of ursine love I suppose.

Nope.

She was supposed to be last up at 830 last night and got bumped.

Probably today, but I can say it hasn't been a fun time.

It's a minor op

Especially as we had flights home etc and she can't fly now for a week from date of surgery

That's the last thing you want after an op, to be stuck in a place other than home. Sorry to hear it mate, I suppose you could drive back, we used to drive back to Darwin from Melbourne in one go, but it's not the most comfortable, especially if you're just out of hospital.

Tony Lynn 15 has that effect on people
No it’s not that (this time) because I’m pretending he doesn’t exist. It’s more because I’ve got some personal shit happening. I’ve recently dropped out of the Royal family and I’m moving to Canada to be a financially independent lumberjack
