I am planning to Binge S1 in early January

I just knocked S1 over in 3 or 4 days, drew me in completely and I am not a known "binger"

Watched the first ep of Silo tonight and I am a lot more meh about it, will give that another ep or two before deciding.

Look forward to S2 of Severance.

Have watched Silo also, you can't even compare the two - it's a pretty fascinating concept, but lots of average writing. Probably worth seeing out S1 just to get the answers you want, but S2 has just been a dragged out filler season.

I think the last episode of season 1 is one of the most perfect episodes of television ever put on tv.

The way it's shot, edited, and acted is masterful.

It's incredible this amazing show is Ben Stiller's baby/creation, one of the most hilarious actors in the last 30 years, now a brilliant director and producer.

Apparently he originally thought up Severance as a comedy, but thankfully he show the dark/sci-fi based path this show is on.

Great return episode.

There’s a lot to mull over.

Mark W - “Why are you a child?”

Huong- “That would be because of when I was born”

😂

Anyone else suspicious that Helly is not the severed innie Helly but the outie one?[\spoiler]

Adam Scott is an underrated actor. That defiant smile he gives when rolling the ball back "3 new friends" after saying 4....

Hopefully this show gets a lot more recognition than it did when the first season aired. Such quality.

Watched the 1st season when it first came out. Then watched 1st ep of season 2 and realised I remember Jack shit of the first season.

Does anyone else have this problem or am I just missing more brain cells than most?

I mean you watch something that’s only 8-12 episodes long and then often wait more than a year for the next season. The previous season just doesn’t stay in my brain.

Definitely. Not even really a question on it I don't think

Shows like this, usually watch a YouTube recap beforehand. When I watched it, realized how much stuff I forgot (but remembered afterwards).

Wow this show is just so good. Another great episode.

It’s so carefully pieced together. Nothing is wasted.

The actor playing Milchek is killing it.

Wax was outie Irving on the phone to?

Season 2 episode 2

Things are starting to get interesting. Still a lot of questions.

Took me to the near end of the episode to lock on to the fact they messed around with time frames. I think the part where Dylan tried to get another job highlights the parallels of real life between staying in a job we hate, vs going to another

One interesting aspect I've noticed is that the outside world is heavily sanitized. The Doors company logo was small and drab, the diner was the same. Cars are very simple, houses simple and uniform. It could be part of a dystopian society or perhaps some sort of Westworld environment or simulation.

That's my take. Some people are talking about it's some sort of purgatory for Mark relating to his wife. Could it be that he killed his wife?

I'm feeling there's a huge twist coming with perhaps a whole new layer to Lumon on the inside, and on the outside.

The last bit seems like crazy fanfiction. It's way too far removed from the show to be a viable option. Would be very lazy writing as well.

Really loving the first couple eps but think I might have to stop watching for awhile to bank episodes as you really want to roll one episode into the next
I need to keep watching but live in the moment. And keep off Reddit
along with Rick and Morty and Westworld, The Flash and Arrow in early seasons, Im fully invested.

Some slow progression on story at the start and end, with updates in the middle..

Great to see Mark starting to get motivated to find out what's going on towards the end.

Forgot to mention, nice voiceover cameo by Keanu Reeves in the first episode.
