Sewel was questioned about our performance last night. He seemed very disappointed with the way we played. He was also calm and said there is nothing to worry about. I just don't understand how can you not worry after last nights performance. Did anyone else hear his comments?

We were back in town after last week and now everything is lost. Gimme a break. There are far too many faint hearts posting doom and gloom after last night.

Take a deep breath kids. We aren't going to win every game we play. There are going to be rough times during a season. We are still a faint mathematical chance to make the finals.

It would be ridiculous for Sewell to play anything but a straight bat at any media questions - knowing full well that any comment will be magnified tenfold, the slightest air of negativity would be blown up to hysterial proportions by the "experts" at SEN.

yer i heard him too, but i dont see how we can not panic yet, we hadnt lost to the bomers since 2005 and last night they beat us with ease for the 1st time in 4 years.

Behind closed doors - they are more then probably shitting themselves. And they ought to be. We are the reigning premiers, we have injuries and we cant win games. Half our 'fit' players are actually unfit and should not be playing. Clarksons head must be ready to drop off.. Im pretty sure this is not what he expected this season to look like. Yeah Geelong was expected but the rest.. we've really only had 1 solid win and that was against a psychologically damaged North Melbourne. Disappointing.

They are a RABBLE, but i like what you are saying though oh how i wish we coul get rid of the rolling zone crap and play normal basic footy becuase its guna take a few years for a whitecross, moss, shoenmakers, dowler to catch up to clarkos cluster..
we realy need to rebuild our back line and go back to basics you dont see geelong changing and stuffing around with game styles all they do is go straight down the guts and give their forwards every oportunity...

Actually, you do. Geelong stuff around with the ball as much as anyone. This stuff about Geelong being a long and direct team is a fallicy.

This is one of the reasons you beat them last year. A good tackling side can bring that undone quickly, and last year you guys were such a side.
