Time for some tips gents . . .

A-GRADE

Tallarook v Broadford
Kilmore v Seymour
Royals v Yea Tigers
Avenel v Eastern Hill

B-GRADE

Seymour v Heathcote
Broadford v Royals
Yea Tigers v Avenel
Nagambie v Tallarook
Puckapunyal v Kilmore
Eastern Hill bye.

I understand the Maroons rode to an effortless victory on the back of some SKC Peterson heroics. Word is the Round Mound Of Sound jagged 4/8 then buttered up with 60-odd off about 25 balls (including six fours off one over).
Any other results forthcoming?

He sure did, the 4th boundary of the over almost decpitated the ump, and 6th was a spilt catch on the fence - was amazing over to watch and one the SDCA newcomer D. Sawyers (I think it was) will never forget.
Roota#6 looked mighty impressive in his 7 overs for the Maroons, two cleaned bowled and a catch to get him the 2 votes behind that man Peterson.

Broadford's top order again started well (4/21) Jason Tarran unbeaten 50 got the Rook over the line, Yea scored 205 to easily get over the Royals.

Avenel rolled eastern hill by 5 wickets. the hill made 4/159 off their overs with jac smoth-williams making about 60no and rick hager chipping in around 40 odd. avenel got the runs with scoota knocking up about 50, aaron hinss making 35 off about 25, dili and pearcey making about 25no each. for the hill, hanley got 3 for about 50. pretty light on for numbers in the swansnest, having to forfeit to the yeabos in the b grade.

quite agree doona, the umpire nearly lost his head if it wasnt for his very quick reflexes ;).. yeah the lad from lalbert seems to be a highly handy addition to seymour's attempt to defend their title.. im also interested to know what you will be doing at SCC this year grandale? any time out in the middle or are you out for the season with the knee?

What side will u be on doona?

how ya goin there roota? good effort by the seymour fella's on the w/end, was bustin to see 2nd drop have a bat, but SCK's rampage was enough for the maroons! oh well, maybe after christmas!! yours sincerely, jack-in-the-box!!

Yes Waddo, in news that is certain to devastate bowlers from Avenel across to Heathcote and then down to Kilmore, my problematic patella will render me unavailable for selection for the entire season.

How will the Seymour blokes fair this weekend with the ring in from Swan Hill against kilmore?

Hey roota anyone would think that you were this ring in from Lalbert/Swan Hill, but that wouldnt be the case or otherwise you would just be referring to yourself in the 3rd person.

Not like it hasn't been done before, WBK.

Yes young man it was a very good win by the maroons. It was a bit of a pity that the 2nd drop didn't get a hit. Woodsy was pretty keen to see how i went!!!

yeah, i was keen to see how 2nd drop would bat, especially with the advantage of the kilmore bowling attack! certainly would of been a fine display, not that SCK wasnt producing the goods!! yeah, i believe woodsy may be your new #1 fan figgy, then again, rodney 'rocket' semmens could be an idol of woodsy, especially after polishing a block of cans!! not taking anything away from you though ROOTA!;)

Yes, you will see me very "round" next time you clap eyes on me Waddo (whoever you may be).
And given my form of the past couple of years I reckon it's probably best that I leave it to others to help the youngsters out.

well maybe i am taking you to be someone else, i thort u mite be bradley bishop because of the knee, and your comment on the horses, which all maroons know your heavily in to.. surely your century in last years semi counts for something if you are brad.. im just an up-n-comer at the club, first year outta juniors and hopefully you will see me behind the stumps all year in the A's if i get and maintain good form, i hope my effort in my A's debut against kilmore can keep me there..

brooadford gave avenel a shocking touch up. on a wet deck, bundled the swans out for 51, after being at one stage 6 for 14. mumford got 4 off his 7 overs (reduced overs after rain) and robbie douglas got 2 for 3 off his 7. carboon wrapped up the tale and ended with 4 as well. broadford then got the runs after only losing one wicket. dirty day all round for the swans.:(

I was at the Hill/Royals clash. Royals made 6 or 7 for 120 - Eastern Hill got the runs in the 2nd last over 9 wickets down.

U heading home for a hit this year bert???

I heard that Michael "Soft" Hard had one of his trademark "dummy spits" on Saturday during the Hill, Royals match. isn't it about time he grew up.
i also heard that Shannon Allum is considering a clearance from seymour if his brother leaves,it maybe just a cover for the fact that he does think much of the seymour captain, any ideas on where he might end up?
