why would you think this mate???
Cos they have some quality players, some with A-grade experience. A couple of young up and comers too. Only way to get better is to play against better. With Alexandra joining A-grade with a concrete pitch it means Pyalong could make a bid with a few years, pending on recruiting.
Got to remember the size of the town mate, but yes thats the plan. This year numbers have been great for a town with only one senior team. Was not that long ago that they had two senior teams going down there and were pretty successful, a few flags were won. But thats why zochy and myself have gone back, to one day get the club back up were it was 10 years ago.

solman!! i told you i was serious when i called you over in W.A on friday! chad bonney made 1 more run than Chrissy Chee and Samanthaman Heron. still got me wondering why his spiders werent required as he seemed to know a fair bit about the deck on saturday morning " it would be safe to say that we better have a bowl browny, there appears to be some soup on the wicket that will have the batsmen on their backfoot" we had no idea what chad was saying, and we dont think he did either. but none the less, i felt an honour playing with Darren Disco Bonney, funniest A grade game ive ever taken part in. afraid he wont get a look in to the side this week as there will be handy inclusions, but he has C grade captaincy duties to fill.. James Soloman, i would advise you get that clearance in, its going to be a good year down the chittick park.. go maroons!

Rook face off against Yea this week at Yea. One change to the team, James Bruce comes into the team after making 50 last week in the B's.
Brett Tarran dumped from the squad.
Should be a good game, would be nice to kick off the season 2 zip. Had to forfeit one of our C Grades this week which was dissapointing - got a lot of players still not available, but once we get all numbers back, we should be fine to field the whole 4 teams.
In another freak occurance at the rook - Shane "I dont know where Tallarook is" Howard attended Thursday training. We are greatly anticipating his next training run in 3 months time.

Cant say that u wouldnt have done the same Legoman. Yeh our B's play Avenel at home, which is a pitty because ur old mate James is hanging out 4 afew quiet ones with u!
Pyalong got their 2007 season off to a flyer with a good win against Alex, making 240 odd, Jack Whelen conpiling a fine 97 not out. Pollock was best with the ball taking 5 for 28 after 9 overs, Alex all out for around 70. Credit goes to Alex all top blokes who joined us for an ale or two after the game.
