Gordon 4 each x 2 = 8
Hodson 4
South not stupid enough to give up 5 for young Davo
Rankin = 3
Davis/B = 4
South get 23 in 2015.

Add Broomby, Tommy Wright, Manuel, Rankin and James McGlashan from last year.

Plus the other new recruits - Jade Keam, 2 brothers (dont know their names).

Plus the ruckman from melbourne and another CHF and HFF that was mentioned in the paper by their Head of recruiting.

The Red Cliffs Player Points System must be in use for the Doggies as well.

Isn't the talk Walp-Underbool likely to head back into SA Mallee League?

Might make it easier for their Adelaide guys?
if they went to South Australia mallee league their longest trip be to Tintinara 270 km followed by Coonalpyn 242
their closest neighbour is Murrayville 59.5 then Pinnaroo 2 fellow victorian clubs , even Sunraysia they got nearly all
over 100km except to Fellow Mallee Club Ouyen walpeup/underbool in no mans land

Might be more attractive for all their Adelaide recruits to go play in SA Mallee league.

Walpeup underbool if went that way would need to leave really early to get to say Tintinara before 10am SA time. Its over a 3 hour drive each way. They would need to take a supporters bus and one for the players who live in Walpeup & Underbool

What's the latest re Robinvale and Euston merger? Have heard the bombers won't have a team in the Millewa this season- any truth to this?
Seems 95 percent certain that as have Friday night it will be the Robinvale - Euston Eagles with games to be played at john james and Euston rec reserve

SFNL clubs are making certain their clearance applications are noticed. The list will be pretty long by the time clearances close.;)

Anyone care to add up Souths points to date.
I reckon there already up to 22 on 5 of the clearance applications.

Looking to be an interesting year in Sunraysia footy. Mildura ( Alvey, Camileri and Lando) and South (Hudson, Gordon, Dickason, Keam and couple of others from elsewhere who can play) looking for major improvement with great new signings to match it with Red Cliffs and Imps. Irymple to be stronger with a powerful forward line if Eagle and Banga play side by side. ?'s over banga's body and if he can keep up with the pace of Sunraysia footy of today. Merbein the best of the rest, will compete some weeks and then get flogged the next as still young and missing good key position players. Wenty ( A Rigby and Byrnes back) and Robinvale ( Couple of good signings) to fight for the wooden spoon. News from red cliffs not looking promising, might be in search of new coach in Feb, not a great start.

Predicting ladder
Imps
Mildura
Irymple , South or Red Cliffs for 3rd-5th
Merbein
Vale
Wenty

The top five will be very competitive with some great footy to be played in Sunraysia this year. Merbein, Vale and Wenty are not easy beats, if your not on your game they can take the four points. Will make a close year and great for Sunraysia footy. Not long now.

Is Eagle a certainty.... see no clearance application yet on both applicable league websites

All the hype about Merbein seems misguided, apart from Duscher & maybe Kooyman the new recruits are spuds, poor old Merbein will again finish bottom. Megs D not playing will hurt.
Should be a good close year as most teams seem to have recruited reasonably well,

Imps
Irymple
Red Cliffs - if they keep list together
South
Mildura
Wenty
Vale
Merbein

Andrew Arden, Josh Whitelaw... Spuds? Pot calling the kettle black don't you think, Nels?

I'm not involved with any SFL club but your post is absolute trash. Just like your team will be this year

Arden left Mildura why? Cause he couldn't get a game in a weak SFL team at the time so goes the easy option of playing Millewa which is about the standard of Merbein so will fit in out there.
Whitelaw will be a good addition. ;)
