All 5 will play 1's easily, Chiltern, Fitzgerald and Harris will represent league. Harris will finish runner up in league B&F............to Fitzgerald.
2.5k is very conservative, 2 of these blokes would have got that between them last year let alone the other 3 blokes.

Both to finish in the top 2? Jumping the gun a bit arn't we snibs. Surely previous winner Eaton must be a front runner, returning to Irymple and not having the pressure of coaching on him. Also other players like Denaro, and Ant Matthews that week in week out are in the best and winning games off their own boots must be up there aswell.

Another blow to Imps with Petrie having an appendix operation that should keep him quiet for a few weeks at least.
I doubt that he would be right by round 1.

So if 2.5k is conservative do you think a few other players in the kennel will start to bark?? Im not as sure as you Snibs that all will play 1s easily tho

Delray seniors must put 21players on team sheet and they must be at the ground, suited up so i don't think reducing the bench is an option.i still believe game day points is the way to go and as you said there is a points column on the team sheet so it should be used.if teams are found to have breached the points system and win the game then they lose there points ,if they lose the game a sizeable fine just putting it out there your thoughts???

I noticed Imps only had 16 at training the other night and that sounds like the norm, some I saw would struggle to get a game in Imps reserve side last year .
What's happened to all the two's players from last year? Will we see some of the old faithful make comebacks to field a team?

I heard 25ish last night, but still a long way from the 44 you need for 2 sides. Not sure where they are at re numbers tho??

Went past the senior college last night and watched mildura have a hit out, looked to have good numbers especially to field 2 teams with what looked to be a healthy bench.

Very young side but looked like they moved the ball fairly well.

Kane Dawson who hasnt played up here for a while dominated the clearences around the ground, and many youngsters from the under 18 i presume looked good.

Touchy subject Doughnuts? must be a imps supporter, who else would stand up for them? :'(

Doggsie, heard similair reports, maybe sliding in under the radar the dee's.

Never heard of James Watt & Gareth McLeod.I think South & Imps have the best young kids, just too name a couple South-Shaun & Nathan Johns,Dane Avery,Big Jake Avery,Nathan Raiti,Michael Polkinghorne and with there unders winning the under 18s very comfortable they will have more to come through while have Imps have Jarrod McNally,James Price,Ben Leske,Ryan Hards Waylon Carr & Brendan Rhodes.

Looks Like Doughnuts watches the footy through the bottom of a can. I didn't see much footy last year but I do remember James Watt winning the league B&F so maybe you have heard of him now.
As for Sth and Imps gun kids i think only Rhodes is left at imps??? and Nath Johns at south.

Dont worry about Imps, we have had the clean out we needed so we might not be as good on field this year but off field we will a lot better. You cant keep the Grenn and whites down for two long

It is surprising that out of eight teams, the only side every one seems concerned with is Imps, really shows how worried others are of us

Thats the trouble with rumours, crap, wasn't strapping ankles, went for a cuppla beers to catch up with some mates

Ok, McNally very good player, what about his shoulders? ANd Carr and price, new to the league?

McNally back will be very handy, Carr played a couple last year, as did Price in the 2's (a couple of games in the 1's). South will be the big improvers (money talks), as will Mildura (plenty of good juniors, great junior program, the way it should be done). Imps may struggle, should give the haters plenty of ammo........couple of years and it'll be handed back with spades when we're back.......

So you currently have 2 at training??? :D

Yep, funny.......

I seem to recall last year the numbers at training werent great either, not the best year Imps have had but serviceable and something to build on, premiership in the 2's (South & Robinvale did'nt get the finals memo), and the U/18's playing in the grand final. The coach is going the right way about things, gently, gently, just sitting back listening to the great unwashed bag our lack of numbers, exits from the club (had to happen), you name it, Imps will cop it.......but you don't have Imps success without being hated.

When you say "had to happen" are you saying it was a good thing to lose so many playeRs? Including arguably 2 of the beat midfielders in the league in r and b Hards?

Imps are the most successful club in the SFL with 18 premierships under their belts, closest is Robinvale with 10, although had they lost last year, theres and Red Cliffs total premierships would have been18.

What do they call that "tall poppy syndrome", Imps can have a few quiet years and still remain the most successful club

may be why people like baggin imps as their supporters are always big noting them.[outsiders perspective]
