Pfft hardly. Hickey was more than serviceable in the ruck, held his own pretty well. It was our mids that were getting slaughtered from time-to-time.

And -- Tom is already proving to be better around the ground than Ben, and Ben would routinely, week-in-week-out, get smashed in the ruck. Also prone to long periods of AWOL.

Personally, I'm looking forward to the Longer / Hickey combo.

I was annoyed he didn't get more game time with us - underrated, in my opinion. He's a smart footballer, a good mark - wins contests against bigger bodied players - and is an awesome kick of the footy. Boooooomm from 50! And he rises in big games.

Keep him out of games against us and I'll be happy!
