I've been shocked not to hear anything about Wellingham's blatant elbow on Le'Cras. Should be a 2-week minimum suspension I would have thought. Wellingham was great today for Collingwood, but should be in grave danger of missing out on the big one because of what he did. Yet, no one seems to have noticed?

The head high bump might be looked at but you never know with the MRP.

The elbow though surely has him going for 2. Cant elbow a face behind play regardless of how hard it was.

Geez I hadn't seen the bump, with that and the elbow to lecca's head, there is something very wrong and unjust about Wellingham playing the GF.

How come you're talking about this. Shouldn't it be more of a Collingwood board thing.

And I think he'll get at least 2 weeks. Pretty blatant.

Not sure jethro, we should be looking ahead, not behind. :):thumbsu:

should definitely go, the elbow to the head was pretty bad
Didn't really follow through. Should get time just for the stupidity though.

Don't agree with the other one - freekick maybe but not a report. But then again I disagree with most of those.

This thread doesn't make the board look good but I think he will gets 2 weeks. I really do hate to say that because no player deserves to miss finals but I can't see him getting off lightly with the current MRP and the elbow to Lecca's head was unnecessary. Who cares about this though, next week is all that matters.

I tend to agree

3-5 weeks. If Waters wasn't one of the toughest players in the game then it would have been more serious. The fact that Waters isn't soft might save Wellingham a week or two.
