Half back flank. Could play on a wing or forward flank.
And he was a pre-listed 17yo so didn't go through the draft.
that at least settles the debate as to whether Edwards was contracted or notEdwards is one of 9 out-of-contract players, of which we do need to/will retain some. Probably 50-50 at this stage, might look elsewhere like Adelaide for senior opportunities.
Any guess as to where he might have gone in the ND?NT zone selection.
not if they aren't going to use the pickWould think our 3rd round pick should get the deal done if we have in fact put a contract on the table, as his manager inferred
agree .....but they might bundle up with other picks.not if they aren't going to use the pick

Thought I read somewhere on the GWS site that he was drafted from North Adelaide??? Did helay his last under 18 game there? No other reports suggest anything about North Adelaide so maybe the Giants have put up the wrong info.Did someone say, he grew (had some living time) up in a Golden Grove?
They've managed to confuse him with Shane Edwards (Richmond) who is originally from SA.Thought I read somewhere on the GWS site that he was drafted from North Adelaide??? I thought we had already offered him a contract? Just waiting on GWS I think.PSD then.
Offer him a contract and then offer the GWS our pick 46 (unless we can grab sone thing about the high 40's) or get him in the PSD.
From NT, went to school in Melbourne (Melbourne Grammar, played in the APS for their 1sts)Thought I read somewhere on the GWS site that he was drafted from North Adelaide??? I read somewhere we have offered a contract, and that he wants to come. Imagine it's waiting on some other machinations to play out first.I thought we had already offered him a contract? Just waiting on GWS I think.

Maybe Noble has all of us confused and is going after Shane Edwards from Richmond....
Perfect smokescreen, Shaun Edwards, Shane Edwards...
Sounds good, and we can always use PSD if neededI read somewhere we have offered a contract, and that he wants to come. Imagine it's waiting on some other machinations to play out first.
Much prefer Shaun
I think this one might be a touch difficult to get! We want him, he is open to us but GWS also wants him. There will be no PSD threat because the kid will not want out knowing GWS have a pick before us and wants to keep him.
Our 3rd round pick won't be used by GWS or us for that matter so its useless and I doubt we would want to trade pick 23 for him. As much as I would like them to, I doubt GWS would just give him away to us.
Why won't you're third round pick be used. Don't you need to make three selections at the draft according to the rules?
We will be upgrading Laird and Hartigan, which count as two selections

I am pretty sure we said our strategy is to use one draft pick in the draft and upgrade two rookiesI'm pretty sure we'd use our 3rd round pick in the draft if we still have it, but we're saying GWS would have no use for it in the national draft and therefore would not be interested in Edwards for our 3rd round.
GWS currently have picks 1,2,21,22. They can make 4 selections and be out of the draft by pick 22. Unless they want a mature ager in the draft around our pick in mid 40s????
