Umpiring Shaun Ryan is Retiring!

Shaun Ryan has retired from umpiring. Shan has umpired the past 5 Grand Finals, 215 games and 25 finals. He will be a great loss to the umpiring ranks. On another note, the umpiring list is losing a lot of talent with the retirements of Michael Vozzo, Hayden Kennedy and Shaun Ryan. The AFL umpiring list currently has 7 vacancies.

It's still 2011 so it's irrelevant.
But for what it's worth, each umpire will have their turn of having a run and a sit in the same weekend.

Also Stevic is average... if he's rated in the top 3 umps, no wonder people complain about the umpiring non stop.
