This is definitely a personal preference, but Proud Mary is a stain on the mostly flawless recordings of CCR.

Black Dog by Zeppelin.
It hurts me to read these two of my favourites from both bands, especially Touch Me. May I ask why you two don't rate them?Touch Me by The Doors
II is my personal favouriteJust do not rate the song. In fact, whilst their most exclaimed album, IV is my least favourite of the classic first 6 albums.
What was that terrible "song" last 3 years or so, think it was a brother and sister act. '"Gonna get on a big jet plane" or something. Easily the worst and most boring abomination of all time.

Geez. Didn't think I'd ever read that.
******* hate the Tina Turner version but I've always loved that Fogerty's decision to play CCR songs after refusing to do so for a long time was based on his manager saying 'seriously, do you want people to think Tina Turner wrote Proud Mary?'
I'm a big Doors fan but I don't rate Riders On The Storm. It's long and boring, and should end at three or four minutes. Songs like these needs to build to something like Stairway To Heaven does; starts off slow but builds up, electric guitar, drums, bridge, guitar solo, massive ending. Riders On The Storm is just gloomy and leads to nothing. Wouldn't rank it in the top five off the album.

God I love this song. Ozzy sounds like he’s in tears but it’s so unique and it works so well.Changes - Black Sabbath
