From about '03-'05 my school was obsessed with yo-yos, then Yugioh took over

Shit I know I am getting old when I don't know what you are talking about, what is a Yugioh?

Agree about basketball cards circa 1994. Still have about 700 of them in a box someplace. Used to buy those little foil packs and get sick with excitement waiting to see whether there'd be a good player in there. I don't know how they packed them but I always found you would get multiples of a shit player before getting one even remotely good player- I'd always see a bulls logo, get excited and think i finally had MJ, but it was always either ****ing John Paxson or Stacey King. I had enough Stacey Kings for a Stacey ****ing King starting 5, curse that girly named ponce.

I remember as a kid marbles and yoyos would be big for about a year and then disappear. Have they ever made a come back since the early-mid 90's?
I remember back in primary school, about 1996 i think, yoyos were absolutely massive. Everyone had one. For Christmas at the end of that year i asked for, and got, a totally badass Goosebumps yoyo. I was so pumped to go and show it to everyone when the school year finally started, by which point they were old news. I was the only sucker there with a yoyo.
