11 wins is shit. It’s shit for a team that’s supposed to have worked on deficits from the previous two years with very good players and an obvious disconnect between on and off field.

You’ll have to do a lot more to convince Melbourne that post premiership we’ve done well.

And that bracket is hardly setting the world on fire. Sparrow, Spargo are likely gone at the end of the year as well. If we are serious. Oliver obviously is a jet but likely needs a new message from a different coach. Petty is a defender and id prefer him there. Chandler is a real asset as he tries hard but Fritsch needs things going well to be influential.

We need a mass list cull at year end. I’d personally be moving on;

Sparrow
Salem
Langdon

You need to start again via trading in and rebuilding. As much as I don’t want to see another Hawthorn flag they have recruited so well. Battle and Barrass are such good inclusions for defence. They’ve turned Chol into a very dangerous forward and complimented their forward line with dangerous mids and smalls.

If the price is right I’d trade Oliver if this year isn’t better. We need a new head coach and we need a focus on elite ball users. Gawn is close to done and you can’t begrudge the guy, same with May. Losing by 10 goals to an average but young side needs to be the catalyst now for change.

Our key forward is JVR. Not even sure he will come on. Second to that is Fritsch who picks and chooses when to play.

We have no forwards at all and the defence is non existent without a veteran who is likely finished.

Couldn't agree more. The MCC factor is irrelevant, they need to be playing at Docklands next season with 2-3 games per year at the G against Rich/Coll/Hawthorn.
