Those trash crabs were a nice random addition. Good episode. Once again the running time got me, this seemed the shortest episode so far.

I mean that's literally what I said, it's 80s standards. Not current though, so that's what it was weird. I think the more recent episode have stabilised. Episode two had some moments that pushed it but that's like, four episodes ago now.

You said it's not really a kids show because of its tone. :tearsofjoy:

Good episode, progressed the plot well with Jod convincing the pirates to join him in getting to At-Attin, kids now have the ship, and coordinates, bringing us to the climax well.

I said it's right on the line, as I believed it was particularly in episode 2. I said it's standard of 'kids show' was more in line with 80s kids stuff, which was quite frankly, more graphic than current era.

Go back, read again. Go on, do it, the bit where I unequivocally declare it isn't a kids show.

It is a kids show..

It is a kids show..
It's a family friendly show, it's not a pure kids show.

Also, you can't find what you claimed I said because I never said it, again. It's getting old. It must be exhausting having some imaginary idea of what I post in your head.

It's certainly exhausting watching you find ways to complain about/take digs at all these shows.

It's weird I've actually praised this show a bit here and you're totally overlooking that as well.

Basically any praise has been backhanded and most of your comments have just been nitpicks; 'filler, hardly anything happens' 'hmm Force sensitive, let's see how this goes' 'moon that looks like Earth's moon but has atmosphere' 'characters are just animals that can talk' etc.

You're blinded by your hate lol.

Praised Jude Law without backhand, praised the writing and characters without backhands. Did critique some setting and designs you are correct, but not dwelling on it until someone like you chooses to focus in on that rather than whatever else I say.

Hate..?

I've literally just skimmed your episode by episode review to pick up those comments, no focussing/dwelling on anything.

Time to move on now.

SM and edgie be like

Neel: I can't believe you said you wanted to be a Jedi when you grow up.
Wym: What? No, I didn't.
Neel: Uh, you basically did.
Wyn: I didn't.
Neel: Um, well, basically, you did.
Wym: Well, so what if I did?

…and so goes another Star Wars thread

Statler And Waldorf Oscars GIF by The Academy Awards

You say this a lot but you never, ever do.

He says, almost a week after my post during which time there have been no further posts.

I came into these threads for the first time in yonks to read a few opinions on a fun new Star Wars show and it's the same old crap by the same old argumentative poster.

Some people really live rent free in other's heads.

All of four posts from me in response to Edgie on this page sure stops you reading opinions on the new show?

Indeed I do..

I posted this

After watching the episode and no one responded to that. The only responses were Edgie getting upset at me suggesting the show was a rollicking adventure for kids. Perhaps instead of a disingenuous claim that you came here looking to discuss the show (which you could have by responding to this post from me) you just wanted yet another opportunity to hang shit on me as you've done for years.

That was excellent. Yet again didn’t want it to end (my weekly routine haha).

Gotta say SM sure is loyal to that pirate code :D

Jude Law sure dialled up that campaigner mode this episode.

Take backsies!

Close enough.

Random theories:

Original captain of the Onyx Cinder might have been from At Attin originally, otherwise how did he get on there with the barrier in the first place?

Barrier was created by the people of At Attin when the Empire rose to protect themselves.

Surely Jod was a padawan at some point in time

Yeah think the big theory is that the original captain is the Supervisor since we haven't seen either of those characters. I like the idea that he was from there originally, then somehow got off the planet and took ages finding out how to get back.

Original captain used the At Attin ship to get through the barrier so i assume he captured it as it left the planet, learned from the crew of the mint and used it to get back.

Think the barrier was already in place to protect the mint and so when the Empire rose maybe only the Supervisor would have known. If the Supervisor is dead and the droids are keeping the mint running the general populace would probably have never known anything about the Empire.
