They use the Force though, was my point.

Don't think the Inquisitors are Sith either really though that's definitely more murky. We've had a fair few Dark Side force users though.
Jod had taken the force and decided to use it for selfish means, albeit fairly low key. Similar to someone like Ahsoka, though she falls on the 'goodie' spectrum.

Enjoyed that. Not sure how they do a season 2 (if they bother), but I also thought I read that the characters would tie into the big movie crossover and it could be quite jarring if we don't see them in anything until the movie and they've grown up.

I binged the last 3 episodes today as I did the first two

It was a rollicking good story, plenty of action and occasional laughs along the way. It actually took me back to 1977 and how I felt as kid about the original..(well almost)

How did we get to this state of affairs all these years later; and that’s a rhetorical question.

It just felt a bit underwhelming but i enjoyed the show as a whole. Next to no chance of a season 2.
I guess Jod will pop up somewhere in another show and the kids are rumored to have a cameo in the Mando/Grogu movie.

I just finished it and thought the fx were first class for a tv serious if that’s any measure of whelming

It was very good overall. Ended quite abruptly though with quite a few loose ends.

Neel’s baby brother always gets me.

The barrier visual effects were fantastic.

I wonder who the female Jedi is that Jod was referring to. I guessed that Qui Gon was his master once upon a time however seems I got that wrong.

I would guess perhaps Jod was discovered by a Jedi in hiding, who was found. Perhaps that Jedi was an earlier student of Qui Gon? Or even Dooku? It all stems from the same source, Yoda > Dooku > Qui Gon > Obi > Anakin/Luke

Solid end to a good show that had some of that Star Wars spirit and feeling to it. I would think of Disney era Star Wars, that's the one that George Lucas would like the best.

Jude Law with the open ending.

Was I kinda hoping we got another Mando 2 surprise with Luke coming down to whoop some ass in a lightsaber battle? Of course I was.

Special mention to the B-Wing appearance, I was thinking how similar the planet was looking to Endoor after the barrier went down, the big forest trees against the starry sky. The B-Wing just added to return of the Jedi vibes. Good to see the parents written in meaningfully.

Some fan theories were correct regarding the supervisor being a droid, which is good, don't wanna end up like the sequels which had people combing the internet for fan theories to make sure that they avoided them, leading to the dysfunctional mess nobody could have seen coming.

It was another show that makes hyperspace a five minute thing to anywhere when the new republic is called. That's annoying.

Those kids, particularly Fern, good actors. Also the kid on the bike from the first episode looks like young Kylo Ren.

I'm not sure how they will feature in the Mando movie to tie everything up, it seems unnecessary. This is a good contained one season story.
