I'm not happy that we lost Fev but with the info coming out of about what happend at the Brownlow the club had no choice.
We got rid of a 80-100 goal/year goal kicker with freakish skills for a younger promising forward.
Hopefully he and pick 12 can turn into a champions of the club.
But I feel this has set us back 2-3 years in the progress of the club. Yes our youger players will continue to get better but we need goals to win games.
Fev has maybe 3-4 years if he stays injury free left but by then hopefully waite can get his knee right and he can help develope Kruz and co and we could have a dangerous young forward line for the next 10 years.

I have heard if the reporter comes forward with the allegations to the AFL, and if they are true, he may not play a game for the lions anyway.
This is a rumour I heard from someone who knows someone within the commission. I hope its not true because I love watching fev play.

Don't rip up your memberships just yet. The club has a bright future, but it might take us a bit longer to taste the ultimate success.
