Re: Soccer/Association Football Kit Discussion

Each hoop, but under the layer? I only have 13 days left, so I'll try to do every team by then, and I'll see after that.
Okay, I need more help. When I try to add a gradient, the collar and cuffs are there, but the gradient takes up the whole background! And also, when I try to press 'fx', it doesn't work. I double click on the layer, and it comes with the layer options. From reading the otger post, I guess that's where I should've been.

Put the gradient on the layer that you change the colour overlay to make the main body colour (usually red or green when you open the template) it isn't in the main design layers but near the bottom.

Yeah, double clicking the layer also works (if you click the fx you then need to click gradient overlay).

Re: Soccer/Association Football Kit Discussion

They look great so far Andonis love what you did with the Brisbane one looking forward to the rest of them:thumbsu:

Re: Soccer/Association Football Kit Discussion

Also Andonis, when making your own design elements.

Go to the base layer, select the outside of the shirt with the magic wand, right click and select inverese.

Then on the layer containing the hoop, panel etc. Use this to create a mask by clicking this

(The panel your editing here should have a bit of overhang from the base of the shirt.)

Then you can unlink the layer and it mask, so you can move the hoop about without having to redraw all the time and maintaining a clean consistant edge.

Re: Soccer/Association Football Kit Discussion

Nah mate, they soccer tops, you gotta have the sponsor across the front, with the club emblem. But a third logo on the front becomes way too cluttered.

That's why I said the AFL logo should go on the sleeve. That's what most leagues do anyway, just not the A League :(

Re: Soccer/Association Football Kit Discussion

Most teams have three on the top. The middle shirt sponsor, club logo and the supplier logo.

Re: Soccer/Association Football Kit Discussion

Marseille have crazy kits. What you want to do with the AFL logos is make it so only half of the logo is visible on the sleeve, which means it's basically centred on the sleeve. You use the magic wand to delete the overhang.

Re: Soccer/Association Football Kit Discussion

Thats different. Just some advice andonis I'd bring the afl logo up the edge of the sleeves so it cuts off halfway. Looking forward to the pies :)

Edit: gibbsy beat me to it. I'm too slow :p

Re: Soccer/Association Football Kit Discussion

Would look better without the big black blocks on the sleeves (keep it with just the 3 stripes). Simpler is better imo.

Great work nonetheless Andonis :thumbsu:
