So what's everyone's thoughts on changing kits for every ACL? Central Coast hasn't, so I'm just not understanding why Brisbane changed?

Adelaide's changed brand, so that's probably why.

Pretty much every A-league team has brought out a new set of kits when they're in the ACL, so it's not like they're doing anything different.

Everton sign with Nike.

http://www.evertonfc.com/news/archive/2012/03/29/blues-team-up-with-nike

Everton Football Club today confirms it has signed a three-year deal with global sportswear giant Nike.

The sports giant will be the official and recognised technical partner on all of Everton’s match kits, which will go on sale later this summer.

Along with the exclusively designed kits for the 2012/13 campaign, Nike will also produce the Club’s official training wear and a Nike Pro Combat range.

Chief Executive Robert Elstone said: “Following all the speculation of the past few months, we are delighted to confirm that Everton is about to kick-off a new, three-year partnership with the world’s leading sportswear brand.

Not too fussed. It seems Nike are producing a kit exclusively for the Toffees. The implication, I think, is that they won't be wearing identikits (ba-dum-tish) or templates.

I like one of the guys comments "I don't care who makes it, as long as it's BLUE!!!"

I think it's a good step forward for Everton. It won't change the way they play, but at least they will look classier in defeat. :thumbsu:

I was going to post the new Euro 2012 kits on here. Does anyone want to see them?

Whilst liverpool look worse in defeat when they cross to warrior ;)

I've always loved french shirts, and I must say their last one (white with thin blue hoops) was an absolute belter. Both their new ones are pretty simple and look classy. That logo looks 100 times better in two colours without the gradients etc.

I'm a big fan of the new England kit. A lot of people moan about the lack of blue, but that's a really sharp colour combo capped off by the Umbro class.

The dutch away is one of the best in a while. Whilst it's hard to go wrong with those colours, the simple design and fit of the shirt makes it a very good kit.

Portugal's is pretty neat, whilst the rest are pretty meah.

Yes... :D

I have to agree with everything you have said.

The darker blue in the French kits looks great, and it definitely suits France.

I thought that blue would have suited for the England Home, but I can't really complain with the red either.

And Black and Orange are great colours, aren't they?

I don't know, I thought Ukraine's design is great, especially on the inside of that rectangle. Open the blue kit in a new tab, and you'll see the pattern :thumbsu:

Apparently this is the leaked Socceroos home kit according to the "Australian Football" Facebook page:

I prefer the away one tbh. I think gold on dark blue looks better than green on gold. Still, it looks good. no problems.

Would love to see something like our 2006 World Cup/2007 Asian Cup kit come back though.

It has the same issues as the away shirt.

Most aggravatingly, there's the unnecessary panel on the sleeve. I can see what Nike were trying to do. But it doesn't work. Rather than compliment the stripe, it wrecks the balance. Totally patchy and clumsy looking.

I don't mind the stripe as a detail though.

And I suggest that the official kit won't have the 'wrong' yellow badge. That photo is of a retail strip. The retails have a different, less official coat of arms. The on-field one usually doesn't have an actual shield, if you get what I mean.

I agree in thinking that the away looks better. Navy compliments yellow much more, as the stripe is a dominating feature. With this, the stripe looks like a lazy add-on. It doesn't really work. The lack of coloured cuffs or collars makes it look... very... identikit.

Personally, these were the best three kits in the A-League this year.
1. Newcastle Jets Home Kit

2. Melbourne Heart 3rd Kit

Special mention to the Sydney FC Home Kit

Wellington's home was best imo, just the black and yellow stripes were great along with the template, compare that to Perth's stripes which looked awful

Yeah I'll agree with you mate, Perth's home kit design was shocking. Awful stripes. Wellington's does look good, just a bit too yellow for me. But that's obviously what the club was going for, trying to stand out from the crowd.

New Chelsea strip.

I like the goalkeeper strip. Pretty simple, but the colours go well. The regular shirt is more boring than 'classy'.
