Solomon - straight to the tribunal

You have no right to comment tool. Freo set the standards, Geelong decide to bite back while teaching you a lesson by 74 points. Deal with it. Deal with the fact you'll be in the bottom 4 for the next 4-5 years too. :p

Haha, what don't you understand Knobend? I never said that Solly was 'hard at the ball'. Simply saying that the dog, Mooney wasn't playing the ball when he was punching Palmer in the head. Hunt wasn't playing the ball. Nor was Bartel... or Johnson. :)

That was not a punch.

What about King kicking White just an accident?

Er, yeah it was.

Thanks for the advice Doris. I also so remember Mark Yeats so shut the f*ck up.

You remember Mark Yeates do you? So you'd remember that it was a square up for an incident earlier in the year then, wouldn't you?

Let me straighten something out.

The reason I posted about Milburn on SOS is that he's still in the team, and it's pretty fresh in Geelong supporters memories. If i wanted to just have a good old slag off on Geelong, i'd do it in Bay 13 (and I have). I just think some Geelong supporters need to stop pretending that they're completely innocent in this whole mess. The hawks have done some bad things in the past (Matthews on Bruns, Vandenberg on Essendon and so on) and aren't probably in the boat to complain about rough treatment. Buchanan almost seriously injured Hodge with his bump on Sunday but did you see us all going mental demanding his blood? He got 5 weeks, and if you look around bigfooty, we all think it was too harsh. Why? Because we've done similar things this year (McGlynn on Cornes).

Milburn's hit on SOS was probably in the same class as Soloman's so i think that Geelong supporters should be a bit more apprehensive when baying for blood.

And for the record, I thought it was cheap, dirty and unfair on the cats who now are without the AFL's best tagger for the next month.

Milburn's act was horrible, no one is denying that (and the only incident in a 12-year career). What does that have to do with criticising Solomon here?

Apparently because Milburn cleaned up SOS a decade ago no Geelong supporter is ever allowed to comment on a hit like Solomons.
Great logic.
Yeah flawless.
I think Solomon has 3 matches carry over so with that i would think he might still be out for the start of next season.
Career over surely.

WHO THE #### OUT OF US IS DEFENDING WHAT MILBURN DID?

Good grief what a pile of crap. As I have said before. Milburn, the GFC and the rest of us copped it after that incident. We were disappointed with Milburn and sympathetic to Silvagni and Carlton (or those of us with any class were). So that means we are never allowed to show annoyance when something similar happens to one of our 'favourite sons'?

We have to be like "gee that is pretty gutless and ordinary but it would not be right for me to point that out anywhere because Milburn cleaned up Sos seven years ago"

And where are we saying we were completely innocent Saturday? It was a game of bloody football FFS! I'm sure there was banter and niggle both sides. Only one side is now going to be without a player for a month while the other has one bloke possibly facing a suspension that could end his season.

Thanks for reading my comment properly. What you should have read (maybe I could have been a teeny bit clearer) was Geelong supporters should be 'careful' before going over the top at Freo and Soloman.
