This + ...

... Howe slept on it overnight before advising Stephenson to go in front of the leadership group, and it was the leadership group who referred Stephenson to Walsh.
I've seen reports about Howe's involvement but not the 'slept on it' part. Where was that reported?

It appears your facts are very wrong. IF your 3 pounds, one match relates to the article you linked you clearly haven't read it. Article states Barton "was accused of placing 1,260 bets on football matches over a 10-year period to May last year, including games he was involved in"
I think voltage is on an agenda (as is his right) but missing the second paragraph is a worry.

The wording of his post (eg: multiple) was giving as much weighting to Stephenson looking as poorly as possible.

But we’re all in the trading opinions posting sphere.

I prefer agendas with a bit more nuance and subtlety.

Will all work itself out.

What if the training is exactly as it should have been to satisfy you?

Then what?

Well then, Walsh should have clipped Stevo over the back of the head in the press conference when he said he didn’t understand the consequences of what he was doing.

Obviously that’s in jest. My point is that somebody in the media should have asked the question. It’s a reasonable question to ask under the circumstances?

It's a very, very good point .... and you would think every club would be reviewing their internal processes, training & messaging on punting.... and especially teams like The Loins that have sponsorship from a gambling company.

I think the training is provided by the AFL rather than the clubs, so it is standardized. Although you have to wonder with our record (JS, Murray, JT, Keeffe, Shaw ...)

Shouldn't just be the media asking the question but the AFL as part of their self improvement. What impact did our no betting training have on you? How can we improve it? Does it cater for different learning styles? Are reminders too frequent, not frequent enough? etc etc

+ are they allowed to pick up a Sherrin before passing a test to confirm that they’ve actually understood?
