Songs 'X' times better on the live album

Listened to Hunters and Collectors - Throw your arms around me on the radio today and it sounded flat.

Put the live version in the CD and thought wow - much better, light and day


any others?

Well it's not a bad studio version but live, Fear of the Dark by Iron Maiden is just amazing.

Don't Drink the Water and Halloween are two examples - much better live

2 CD re-release of their classic first album on one CD with live versions of most of the songs on the other CD from a gig in 1985. Great concept and one of my favorite releases this year.

yeh heard that on triple j when they were down in tassie

it was done well live but i still prefer the studio version
