...relying on 3 players (Bell, Sandi and Pav) wont win you any games. Your other 19 players (Maybe besides Cook) were a disgrace.

Might aswell delist Des Headland because he is not a good role for the likes of Peake, Schammer, Mundy etc.

Fremantle got double the amount of free.
It's clear the Freo dockers lack another key forward.
Tarrant will come up in discussion no doubt.
And Parker should retire. He is an embarassment.

Unlucky freo you guys did your selves no dis-honour to get where you are today from where you were 11 weeks ago , just simply amazing .

Once again well done.

Didn't think Mundy, Johnson and Crowley (definately Crowley) played too badly. You're just trying to rile us up because for some reason you have developed an inferiority complex.

But I agree with your point on Dessy I must say.

Well done...
You have now lifted yourself to Unit standards.

And people wonder why everyone hates collingwood and their supporters..

Enjoy your slide down the ladder over the next few years, I know I will.

Tell you what Crowley looks a real good player looks very strong for a youngster, also send sandilands down to sleepy hollow with crowley

I'm sorry but I thought this loss will serve the Dockers well in the long run. It is very rare (Adelaide 97, Bombers 93) that an club can win a flag in it's first tilt at the finals for several years.
Freo fans should be proud of their club for their season.
Wish my club had the foresight to pick up such gems like Mundy and Crowley.
FWIW I expect Freo to make the final four again next year, and perhaps with a bit of luck next time, could actually make it to the big one.

:thumbsu: Absolutely. Well done Freo - you'll be back. I never beleived in the "you've gotta lose one to win one" mentality, but frankly, i saw a team lose tonight that is destined for bigger in the future. To repeat myself - you'll be back.

I was surprised at how timid Freo were.

One of the strengths this year has been their ability to hit the opposition hard. IMO they let themselves down in this regard tonight.

Too many players were second guessing themselves especially early in the game. And for the life of me I cannot understand why they continue to chip and play the flanks late in the game when they need to score fast.

IMO too much thinking and not enough doing cost the Dockers tonight.

They're a very inexperienced finals side with a heap of young talent up against a side that is looking a good bet to go to back to back.

Where is the shame in being outclassed by a side as good as the Swans?

The Pies were smashed at home by an undermanned Dogs (Darcy, Higgins, Murphy, Hahn, Williams, Morgan) when they were considered by many to be favourites. That's something to be sorry about because that's the end of chances Buckley, Clement, Rocca, etc. had to win a flag .

The Dockers will be back next year with Drum pushing for selection, good first and second round picks and maybe a good player traded for Polak to come into their side.

The Pies have their best young player out for the whole season with a knee reconstruction if they're smart. :(

At least they have Brodie Holland to comeback.

No shame for the dockers tonight. no one gave them a chance, yet they pushed the swans for almost 80% of the game.

Just need a bit of "bloods" type hunger and never say die attitude and they will be contenders for many years to come.

Was Farmer MIA tonight? I didn't see him touch the ball.

Sandilands is one of my favourite players now. Schammer is terrible, whenever he moved onto an opponent they would get a goal straight away.
