Didnt think too much of it at the time but SOS was sitting along side me in the heroes stand last friday with his 3 boys watching the blues take on Adelaide.

the more i think about, the stranger it seems that he would take the time to come and watch the blues play such an insignificant game.

could he be on his way back to visy park??

his boys are looking healthy. they could occupy 3 of the 4 key position posts in our team in 10 years time :D

Apparently, despite the so called rift between him and the club, he still loves the blues and attends a lot of matches when he can and always takes his boys along.

It will be interesting in a couple of years whether he comes back to Carlton as a KPP coach for us... then we will start seeing the boys hanging around as well picking up tips from the players :D

I have seen SOS at many Carlton games since his time as a St. Kilda assistant coach - these have been before and after we are due to play them.

Always in the company of his three boys.

I am told that out of the three Ben is the ONE!!!! :thumbsu:

Whatever the rift may be with the administration I am sure he knows that in every single Blues supporter's heart he is an absolute, hands down flowering champion!

We love you SOS come back and help us with 17!

He is one of the "boys" I would be more than willing to see get a prominant position in the coqaching staff at Carlton.

P.S geez a spine of SOSOS ... the day that happens is the day I have to watch the match in my bathroom for fear of embarassment!

That is our problem at the moment with our MC being too much of an "old boys" network.

Adding SOS to it by invitation would make this worse.

I would love SOS to come back to the club in some official capacity however I would like to see coaching appointments done via a vigorous selection/criteria system.

I will avoid the dreaded "process" word otherwise we will end up with Grant Thomast. :D:rolleyes:;)

Serge and Son of Serge and the three boys occupy level 2 seat on the wing at Etihad stadium... directly above where i sit... and i saw SOS there maybe 4 times last year..

He's coached st kilda's backline to be the best ever in 40 years.

Thats all I need to hear.

*rubber stamp goes bang on the paper*

Contract approved :thumbsu:

Why?

SOS is a legend, yet I don't know why everyone wants him back as a coach just because he played for Carlton.

No one has the same passion for bringing Peter Dean back to Carlton. ;)

Dean is occupying a similar position at the Dogs.

And arguably getting better results with their backmen.

I'd rather we recruit a coach from another club after looking at every candidate out there.

Can they tell if they're good footy players before they've turned ten?

Is it too soon to sign Ben Silvagni as a F/S pick to ward off the Darwin Power?

You weren't supposed to mention the relocation plans for another 2 years mate... now you are just going to have a lot of pissed off port supporters after your ass

Good point... tricky decision there I think... would love to have both of them at the club helping out... SoS because of his KPP work and Deano because of his defensive work...

Knowing the AFL they'll eliminate the Father-Son rule for the years when the TRISOS's are in the draft, and then reintroduce it again afterwards.

Hopefully all 3 are awesome unlike the previous brother trio of the clokes.

Do not get me wrong The General ... I would be more than plaease to have Dean back atthe club as well.

Both have done more than enough to be rubber stamped if they ever wanted to help the Blues out.

Anybody know if there is a F/S possibility with Dean? Would love to see a S.O.D running around for the Blues!
