Isn't Slash already touring in the next couple of months?I could see Slash touring here in our summer. It would be probably be the end of Slash's tour.

Yes, but it's normally quiet in the NH at that time of year. More hope than expectation.Isn't Slash already touring in the next couple of months?
so far the confirmed acts are:
Cancer Bats
DevilDriver
Orange Goblin
Six Feet Under
The Blackout
Kingdom of Sorrow
Already better than the BDO. Im just praying Linkin Park arent the headliners as rumoured

I don't think Metallica would be much more unrealistic than Black Sabbath. Personally I'm not expecting either.Black Sabbath would be awesome, as would Down. Metallica is probably a bit unrealistic unfortunately
AJ has ruled out Slash via twitter but perhaps if SW book Mark Tremonti Slash & Myles could join him on stage for a song or 2
Fear Factory are already touring later this year(including Adelaide), so they won't be on Soundwave I'd imagine.Yeah Anthrax is on my wish list. Wouldnt mind Fear Factory as well. Love their new album
Wasn't there some rumours surrounding Loaded too? Or am I dreaming that one?
Love to see Down too. Or even Corey Taylor come out and do either a solo set, or Stone SOur again, they have a new album out in October (and another in March)
You have almost got your wish, Corey Taylor confirmed Stone Sour today!

Actually prefer Stone Sour to Slipknot, and they have a double album in the works, so they should have some pretty good material.I'll check out Stone Sour for sure, but they're not a band that will have me salivating for tickets.
I've never seen Stone Sour, but their studio works aren't as good as Slipknot's IMO. Straight rock has to be extraordinary to stand out, and Stone Sour are good, but not great.Actually prefer Stone Sour to Slipknot, and they have a double album in the works, so they should have some pretty good material.
