When did AJ confirm Devildriver? I really hope that is the case but all I've heard was that they were a small chance after what happened with their tour. You can probably include The Offspring (The band said they would play BDO or SW) & Blink 182 in that list as they are essentially confirmed. I'm really hoping for Megadeth as the third headliner even though the chances are probably very slim.

The Offspring headlined 08 Soundwave with Incubus and Killswtich Engage and they were pretty damn good. Crowd went mental for Bad Habit, which they always play live apparently haha.

Any chance of QotSA? Black Sabbath would be awesome, as would Down. Metallica is probably a bit unrealistic unfortunately
Would like to see Anthrax with Belladonna so fingers crossed there too.

I don't think Metallica would be much more unrealistic than Black Sabbath. Personally I'm not expecting either.

There would be a 1% chance of getting Tremonti touring here sadly ... I could see Creed touring instead. Where are the Linkin Park rumours coming from? Simply because they have a new album?

We were really spoiled by this year's line-up. I doubt I'll ever go to a better festival.

Fear Factory are already touring later this year(including Adelaide), so they won't be on Soundwave I'd imagine.

Agree with bombermick. It was almost too good as I missed probably 15 bands that I would have loved to have seen and with a very pregnant wife, couldnt risk going interstate to see those bands.

I missed out on Slipknot and SOAD and didn't care, that's how good it was. Staind were relegated to playing in a tin shed: that's insane.

We're going to have to lower our expectations next year ...

Stone sour are great. Would rather snort asbestos than see tenacious d though.

Would love to see refused even though aj has denied they are coming. Anthrax would be great headlining the 2nd stage.

I've never seen Stone Sour, but their studio works aren't as good as Slipknot's IMO. Straight rock has to be extraordinary to stand out, and Stone Sour are good, but not great.

The metal stage this year was out of this world, can't imagine it getting close in 2013.
