James Holmes, Dolliver and Cleary all officially gone from Clarence now also.

What will be left for Fagan? Remember it’s flag or what was the point?
What will be left for Fagan?

James Bealey won’t be, after Dolliver announced him as the latest recruit on SEN this morning!

Keegan Ryan and Liam Howard the latest two announced as leaving Clarence, both have signed on with Glenorchy.

I’m not sure this is what Scotty Wade was hoping for!

Maybe should have thought about that before he unnecessarily sacked Peter Ryan. The hold that team they had, and add Fraser Turner they’re probably favourites for the flag next season. Really stupid sacking. No one was beating North Launceston

With all the Clarence news I’d be interested in hearing;

Brighton picked up anyone of note?

How is Claremont tracking? No recruits announced and were pitiful last year.

Who from Lauderdale will be moving with Christensen? Hobart need a lot more then him to win more games.

How are lauderdale paying these players and staying in the points system. Sounds a bit suspicious. Surely the salary cap is blown.

I'm hearing Brighton have kept most of their seniors but their reserves a lot have knicked off elsewhere. No idea on colts.
Can easily see this being just like the old premier league all over again being cannon fodder.
What a boneheaded idea to put their womens team into the premier league!
SFL have made a lot of dopey decisions over the years, and that's another one.
BVK bench coaching Claremont won't end well.
Wasn't very good at Uni and won't improve them much at all either.
Bvk is a terrible coach, played under him and he leaves a lot of damage where ever he goes.

Worth it for a flag. They have never won a flag. Go all in.
Those guys who have gone to Dodges, who has proven they will be a 200 gamer at even Premier League level. The fact they have jumped rather then fight for a spot speaks volumes also.

As in never ever won one? I didn’t know that wow

I still like the Cygnet, North Launie method, build it for the long term not just for the now.

Perhaps none would have been 200 gamers but I doubt many of the recruits will be 200 gamers either when Andy cashes out.

I get it but I would worry about the bleeding as well

I think they won a flag back in the 90s might be wrong thou.

With Walsh signing on again at Lauderdale, is Christensen taking any big names with him to Hobart?

Strange appointment if he is unable to take any players.
Points system would disallow that.
Given LFC were grand finallists in both 1s and 2s this year their players would be rated in the higher point bracket.
That whole systems been a dismal fail right from the start.
All its done is consigned the bottom clubs to remain at the bottom for years on end and kept the top clubs at the top. Competitions have never been so unequal.
Massive anger in country and ammo footy in Victoria and SA over the system, same issues as over here.

Beat Claremont in 91 to win their only flag.
Watched it from the balcony at Abbotsfield.
Had it stitched up halfway through the last, fell to sleep and ended up losing the lead only to bang three or four quick ones very late to win it.
A real get outta jail job given they nearly stuffed it up.

Just wanted to show a little comparing between Lauderdale and Clarence this off season based of what clubs have announced off social media

Lauderdale

INS: 4
OUTS: 11

Clarence

INS: 4
OUTS: 11

Not much difference tbh yes I’d say the talent going out of Clarence is gonna hurt more but I just thought I share this

I reckon this could do with a little bit of context don’t ya reckon?

Lauderdale has lost 3 players from its GF side, Clarence has lost 12 from its prelim side and counting.

I would have thought there’s a heap of difference in losing a few fringe/reserves players compared to more than half your senior side including your best 5 or 6.

I’m sorry did you not read the whole post where it said that Clarence have lost more quality. I was more pointing out that Lauderdale have still lost a lot of players this off season which will affect the 2s who played in a granny
