My first memory of Pendles was when we read his name out on draft night, and I thought "Who TF is this guy? We need to sack that new head recruiter!"

And now 20 years later he is going for the world record in games played.
As well as already holding the record for most possies.
Just watched the Collingwood tribute video. It was getting to the stage that I thought the pigeon wasnā€™t going to make an appearance. But it did!
Ah, memories.
Thanks Embles..

Further:

36140 points for. (90.6.)
32192 points against. (80.7.)

33.7 is his average winning margin in points.

Not sure if itā€™s been mentioned here, or elsewhereā€¦ but could he be considered as the first/only pure midfielder to have made it to 400?

Does anybody remember after our win against Carlton in round 23 in 2022 (When we knocked them out of the 8) when Pendles got asked in an interview if he felt sorry for Carlton and he replied with ā€˜Not Reallyā€™.

I spent ages trying to find the clip but I still couldnā€™t find it. That was a certified classic Emblebury moment! Hopefully itā€™s relevant again after Saturday night.
