Well the time is coming closer to the long awaited return of Dexter .

First episode airs in America on Sunday the 26th of Sept, so will be ready to download on Monday the 27th here.

But I'll have to though, since I'll probably wait for it to come of foxtel towards the end of the year. Which means I'll have to avoid this thread until then even though every time I see it I'll be dying to click on it.

Awesome... simply awesome!!!

Good to see the next season will be heading in the direction I thought it would. Only problem is, it looks increasingly as though this could be the final season with Dexter potentially being found out and caught.

I doubt we'll ever see Dexter get caught out for who he is, even if it is the last season.

Seems more likely he'd give up the dark passenger for the sake of the children and to stop Harrison from having those urges too; or he gets caught but who ever catches him also has a dark passenger and sympathises with him and lets him go.

Brilliant show though, cannot wait for S5 to begin.

Yep whenever I envision the final scene its him sitting in the chair. I think/hope this is how it ends. I will be so disapointed if he never gets caught out.

I think Dexter will eventually be exposed, but only by Deb, and then he'll die somehow in the final episode and his secret will be safe.

Agree that the trailer looks phenomenal, also love the hint that the only way Dexter knows how to deal with the pressure of the investigation & guilt over Rita's death is to continue killing.

Anyone heard more on Julia Stiles being the new love interest for Dexter in this series.

I know she's been confirmed as being in the series, but as to what role she plays, it's sort of been a bit cryptic so far.

I'm in denial of this being the last season, I'm praying it rates it's arse off in the US and they either do a movie afterwards, or even one more season.

Can't wait, but I will wait for Foxtel, mainly because there is so little on TV over summer that I have to have something to look forward to.

Yeah heard about Julia Stiles, should be interesting to see what character she plays.

After watching the trailer again, I think Quinn might be in a bit of bother trying to find out more about Dexter; don't know if he'll be killed off or what. Possibly Doakes v2.

Like wise with Elliot, imagine if it was him who killed Rita and not Trinity?! (mind you i'm sure it was Trinity). Astor and Cody will play a big role this season, no doubt a lot of the first few eps will involve them and Rita's death.

Don't know how Dexter will get out of the interrogation room after the officer was telling him they knew he was at Arthur's house.

I doubt this will be the last season though, not since Dexter s4 rated so highly....Showtime know people will watch s5 like crazy now and will extend the series until it doesn't rate so well.

Cannot wait though for the season to start, will be the best thing on TV imo.

EDIT:

All I'm hoping for is no Laguerta love storyline - don't think I can take anymore of it.
