Mark Richardson owned Carey about 5 times in a row a few years around 1999

ROFL.

Please enlighten me.

North played Collingwood 7 times between 1996-2001

Carey kicked the following:

4.1 - 2001
4.1
4.1
3.5
4.2
1.3
3.1 - 1996

So he kicked 23 goals, and averaged close to 21 possessions a game in that time as well.

Yep, Carey certainly hated playing on Richardson.

Stuey Cochrane used to destroy Nick Stevens, so we traded for Cochrane. Coincidentally, Port beat North for the first time in Cochranes first season with Port with Nick having 26 disposals that match (had 13, 7 and 18 in his previous three matches against North).

Nathan Steinberner seemed to play well on Ronnie Burns as well.

Cochrane also used to do always get the job on Pavlich too....on more than one occasion he was selected just to play on him.

Da Rui V Millane

He would play in the twos and come in for the Collingwood game and run with Millane and scare the shit out of him. I've no doubt he was the only player in the league Millane worried about which was fair feat when Millane was pretty tough himself. Sadly he couldn't do much else though old Steve.

jako was a champion -no mistake - but after his knee reco - wasnt 1/2 the player - but he still got carey - kept sucking him in to feats of strength where carey should have run off him - but carey was too much of a meathead so fell for it every time

Coaches instructions actually. the 'feats of strength' wrestling for that position was a part of the gameplan

Did better then any other collingwood player, lonie often came back just for the Sydney game

My "lol" was based on Lonie's record in Goodes. How one judges such a record is beyond me.

I do think that Lonie did ok at times ON Goodes however. Would certainly not say that he ever towelled Goodesy up though.
