Tip and margin - Saints by 10
Most disposals - Montagna

I remember this game last year was when Jack Steven really took that next step.

39 disposals, 6 marks, 7 tackles

Really don't know, I think the margin will be 2-3 goals. Great to grab a win and gain some more ground on Brisbane, but the Blues have been okay at Etihad, only lost to Port.

Saints by 12
Most disposals: Steven
Most goals: Schneider

Should be a cracking game, will be good to see how the kids go.

Saints by 8 points
Most disposals: Jack Steven
Most Goals: Stanley

Result - Saints by 2 points.
Sub - Anyone but Siposs. Just not that kind of player.
Most disposals - Jack Newnes. They will lockdown on Joey and Steven.
Most Goals - Jack Billings. Breakout game tonight.

I hope we give the vest to Clinton Jones, he is in good form no doubt but i'd like to see all the kids start. More likely Sippa/Shents will be given the vest though i think..

do you guys feel like we have a better team in tonight than last years monday night carlton game team?

Amazingly, there are 12 changes to the team that beat Carlton last year on MNF:

In: Jones, Hayes, Schneider, Billings, Longer, Delaney, Curren, Bruce, Dunstan, Shenton, Acres, Weller
Out: Hickey, McEvoy, Ross, Geary, Roberton, Armitage, Saad, Fisher, Dal Santo, Milera, Wright, Milne

Result: Saints by 11 points.
Sub: Siposs..... only because we never seem to pick the right kind of player to be sub, so it's mostly likely gonna be Arryn. The only time we ever got the sub right was Schneider in a game against Richmond sometime in the last 2 years.
Most disposals: Luke Dunstan - fresh from a week off
Most Goals: Stanley 4 goals - new found form to continue

Option 1 - Carlton turn up to play (been established they have a more mature list than us, heaps of 1st round draft picks etc)

Carlton by 65 points

Option 2 - Close game. Both teams defensive minded. 85 points to 75. Could go either way.

Option 3 - Saints turn up to play. Again, a dour struggle...Saints by 12 points

What about Tommy Curren against port last year?

I reckon Saunders has been pretty good as a sub. Maybe it's a mindset thing for him, but when he comes on as a sub, he seems to be everywhere

Looking at that another way:
  • Rucks: Longer -> Hickey, McEvoy = A loss.
  • Inside mids/taggers: Jones, Hayes, Dunstan, Weller, Curren -> Ross, Armitage, Dal Santo = We miss Dal, and Armo would be handy, but there's at least more... a stalemate?
  • Outside mids: Acres -> Milera = I think that's better.
  • Tall Defenders: Bruce, Delaney -> Fisher = A big win, especially given Fisher's fitness last year.
  • Small/Medium Defenders: Shenton -> Geary, Roberton, Wright = a loss.
  • Small Forwards: Schneider, Billings -> Saad, Milne = a stalemate.

Saunders is an emergency ATM.

I would call it a win. Although Milne is AA FP, Schneider and Billings ability to work up the ground and delivery into the fwd 50 is an added bonus.

Win/Margin: I think the Blues will win but here i'll just go with the heart and say Saints by 10 points
Disposals: Jack Steven 34
Goals: Riewoldt 6
