Can't see Queensland losing. It's one thing to say how fast the NSW backline is. It's another to realise that besides Tom Trbojevic, none of them know how to tackle. Inglis and Chalmers will think it's Christmas.

This is where I give QLD a chance. While the NSW team is flashy, fast and dangerous in attack, the QLDers have a more hard-nosed origin team imo. This could be telling, especially if its a cold low scoring dogfight.

Sick of Queenslanders saying how they are the underdogs because so many players have retired. Getting their excuses in early. NSW have lost players too and are the younger team.

Both can rightly claim underdog status IMO, but QLD do have slightly more experience.

Should be an exciting game.

Unless Queensland can find someone who can manipulate the referees as well as Cam Smith did, NSW should win easy. 28-14

I like sport but does every major sport in this country have to have some boofhead over stating the importance and history of the contest. The AFL make me sick with it and I just had to put up with 30 minutes of the origin intro.

Just play the ****ing game.

Does the kicking situation hurt QLD this year?

Heard the starting kicker is not even the starting kicker for his team!

Can’t remember who it was as I am not a mad NRL follower except for Origin and the Storm in the finals! NSW have 2 of the best currently in the NRL by reports and Smith out has really screwed QLD and converted tries are massive.

Smith and Thurston were clutch kickers. Missing them in a must-convert try will have an effect.

It annoys me watching 9 promote the violence of years gone by. Partly cos it's such a bad look, but mainly cos they're cynically and artificially pumping up something that won't and can't happen again.

Yeah because you need a lot of excuses when you routinely win.

For the record, in almost every series played over that 12 year period, NSW have been bookmakers favourites

Mate three weeks ago Dylan Walker had his eye socket smashed to pieces by one of the cleanest shots you’ll see.
