My old story I decided will become to predictable so I have decided to change my story to a State of Origin one.

I have made the squads on Footy Fanatic and will use the Practice Match feature to generate the matches.

AFL ANNOUNCE A RETURN TO STATE OF ORIGIN FOOTBALL
Today the AFL announced that state of origin would return over a six week carnival involving 5 teams. The teams would be Victoria, South Australia, Western Australia, The Allies and the Indigenous All-Stars. Every-team will play every other of the first five weeks followed by a final with the top two teams in the sixth week. Each team will play two home games, two away games and have a bye.

Victorian coach Danny Frawley today announced the 30 men that would represent the 'Big V' for the State of Origin carnival starting next week.

Shortly after the annocement of the Victorian squad, arch-rival South Australia also annonced their squad and also that dual-premiership coach Malcom Blight would coach the side.

I used the 2005 lists and just moved the players into the right teams and then deleated the rest. Didn't take long at all.

Musha, I reckon you've done a top job with the teams - but Black Caracella ahead of Bartel et cetera - yuk.
 
STATE OF ORIGIN PREVIEW
The squads have been announced and it is now time to decide who us, the media, think are going to win this thing. In my personal opinion I think the Vics will be to strong for the rest of the competition. As for suprises I think the Allies may do well and posibly jump up and join Victoria in the final. As you can see below I have devised some rankings for the teams (taken straight off Footy Fanatic;)).
