Nice fence sitters view of the world. "Don"t get me wrong SOS is good. I rate him highly.....but let's roll with the punches". Also as far as positive evidence goes, all indications are in the right direction. It is 2 years too early to really tell which makes it pretty convenient for bureaucrats to get rid of him. Melbourne never recovered when Norm Smith and Barrassi left. You keep high performing favourite sons

Fence sitting is great, especially when you're an outsider with less than 10% of the relevant information. I find those who swing fully one way or the other in these scenarios to be rather amusing.

The Prez ain’t happy believe you me

Surely MLG just had to show Liddle what he was hired for, and this has to be his first priority.
As I said earlier, leave SOS to do what he does best and Liddle can do what he does best.

Give Liddle Barry Mitchells old office in the outer.

Liddle is a genuine clown, focus on your own job not list management decisions.

Liddle isn't the clown if he's been given free reign.....well he is, but nevertheless..

Tell me how the President hasn't stepped in and laid down the law?
How can the President not do this and garner respect for him doing so by one and all, instead of allowing it to fester and what...not be happy? Crazy

Well - Caro, Jon Ralph and Tom Browne must be rubbing their hands with glee based on the melts going on here and at the club.

Good old Carlton factions again.

What next ? - an extraordinary meeting at the Town Hall.
Hey, melting like crazy worked for Richmond in 2016...

Problem needs to be fixed. So, hypothetical, SOS departs, we hire "x", the best list manager in the world and Liddle tours the park with player "y" without the list managers knowledge and around we go again.

I don't see anything wrong with Liddle or Lloyd going to the list manager and saying they have ties to such and such, what's your thoughts, but to take someone through and give them the sense of "we will make you an offer" as was done to Ellis, is just wrong on so many levels.

To be honest, I find it hard to believe that claim - that Ellis and Papley were toured around Princes park literally without SOS having any knowledge.

It just doesn't add up.
