Liddle inviting Ellis to tour the club behind sos’s back is unforgivable. Very unprofessional. I’m shocked that liddle would do something like that as I really had the impression he was very very professional in the way he went about it. I was very impressed by what he has been able to deliver in the short time he has been at the club.

Unfortunately Liddle might be a convincing 'snake oil salesman'...the kind that is a good speaker and in general good at his job, but likes to big note himself and hog credit while sneakily undermining his colleague rivals for power/promotions...i hate those type of people i've encountered in the workplace. Starts office 'politics' and a toxic culture. It makes good employees leave - like SOS.

Question is why aren't we moving on Liddle and keeping SOS?

If we beat Richmond by a point in round one you'll be jumping around in your lounge room like the rest of us.

Liddle will still be a ********, SOS will still be a pig headed blues legend and you'll still love Carlton.

I think SOS has done a great job building the list from scratch and I don't like the way he's been treated but I have supported the players on the field through worse, as have you.
Nope effective today I am resigning my Membership. and sending my badge personally to Cain liddle.

For someone that was leaving anyway in the nearish future it’s actually an indictment because as head of anything you should have a succession plan, seamless transition is the name of the game in any good business.

and what does that tell you - when you stop to think about it...?

What a poor attempt at face saving in that media release. Trying to make out he’s not staying because of his sons when it’s not the reason at all. Treating fans like idiots and not giving a club legend the respect he deserves.

There are significant problems at our football club.

SOS going will ease a few - but we will get worse results because of it.

The way this has been handled is appalling amateurish.
What rubbish. There aren’t significant problems. There were some philosophical differences. But put things in perspective.
SOS was brought in to effect a revolution. His “interests” don’t necessarily align with the “interests” of the coaches, especially the senior coach.
His focus is medium to long term. The coaches focus is short term, namely keeping their job.
I’ve re watched the 2019 first round draft. The interraction between SOS and Teague when the Sam Philp selection was made was respectful. All the others at the table seemed on side with SOS.
Maybe Teague was uncomfortable, maybe he wasn’t. It’s really no big deal.
On a night like that the choices are made by the list management TEAM.
Apart from Clarko, I bet all the coaches in those rooms were uncomfortable about the decisions.
However I have to acknowledge that it’s very odd that the coach is expected to get the best out of the drafted players but he doesn’t get to select who is drafted - unless, of course, he is Clarko. 😂

If Liddle is a snake and all that he’s accused of, why was he none of this at Richmond? According to some he’s the type that likes to big note himself and interfere, yet has only just become this way in the past 4 months.
What garbage

Don’t let the door hit you, supporters who threaten to burn memberships throw them out, when something happens they don’t understand or like, aren’t true supporters.
