This painting has been in the family for generations.

Ta.

About the above though, in a practical sense, is there a rough number of years that one could use to define a generation. If so, what is it?

I would accept #3, a generation is from when a baby is born to when they start having kids.

So roughly 20-25 years I'd reckon.

Thanks.

Generation X wasn't that long ago. Generation Y has already taken over, and Generation Z may not be far away. There is no real concrete answer for the number of years, its dictated more by the way in which society develops.

When you think most music they are now making sucks, and that young adults are complete mindless idiots, and grand liberal humanitarian thoughts become ridiculous concepts because you now have to pay for them rather than think of them, then your generation has gone down the conveyer belt toward the landfill.

When 19 year old girls stop saying, "Hellloooooo" and start saying, "Excuse me, sir," then go ahead and jump in the box. That's the first nail in the lid.

No definite time period though.

Peace,

Check.

Check. But, can I change 'young adults' to a more broad 'people' type reference?

Anything that I have to pay for is ridiculous. Including sex.

But, I am 21 years old....

So which stage are you at Mooster?

Still getting the ''Hellloooooo'', or have you descended into being a well respected ''Sir'' in your local community...?

Personally, I am still getting the '' **** off you dirty freak'' type deal, so I am confused in regards to my position.
