So I’m assuming trading out Pick 2 means we can get Harris to with these extra late pick points. Did she nominate us yet?
When a bid comes, you need to use a pick within the next 18 (its a bit different to the mens in that way) , so assuming you'll use pick 19 for Harris, and then a couple other picks for the other academy players

Good stuff. Just looked it up and Mithen is equal 12th in terms of total AFLW games played (82). Impressive stuff considering she's only 26 years old. Bringing in Lilly and Havana should make a big difference next year.

Boddsy needs to change his profile pic to Sessarago.....lean into it man, lean into it. Can't be worse than Tom Tate.

Mithen has three things we really need: can run, can kick, has clean hands.
Amazingly, this helps a team play better football. Whoda thunk.

She's going to be a star. A genuine homegrown superstar. How good!

Pretty hard to ignore what's going on in the local southern footy clubs at the moment. Burleigh in particular is growing at an enormous rate and producing top 10 prospects like Lombard and Harris in the same year.
Harris has seen firsthand how much football in Queensland is booming. When she first began at the Burleigh Bombers there were just two girls teams; now there are several from all age groups.

I thought if a player like your 2 academy girls, nominated Gold Coast they play at the Goldie. Or is the draft like Mens & match bids?
From what I know of the AFLW bids and northern academies. The players just have to sign a form that gives the club first access. If they wanted to go into the national draft, they can do that too. But to match a bid, you only need a pick within the next 18 picks of that bid. So if say a bid came at pick 1, you can match with any pick in the first round. Even if its later. Its a bit outdated these rules, a bit different to the mens

Really disappointed that is her attitude. To prefer to leave her home town and our academy and club.
Some people want to get out and experience the world away from home.

As unbenefical to the club as it would be I understand it.
