Watched a fair bit of the play through of the Woodland area and the game looks amazing.

So much to do, explore and collect, plenty of secrets and easter eggs and I love the little touch where when you collect a moon it has a bit of a name or description for each one and records the date it was found.

This is the style of Mario ive been waiting for, there where so many cool worlds in the Galaxy games but there wasn't enough to explore in them. I prefer having less worlds with more stuff to do, it helps you get attached to the levels and makes them more memorable for me.

I'm going to stop watching videos on this now. I've seen enough from the trailers and the first tree house game play (the one in New Donk City) to be excited for it.

And believe me, i want to watch more tree house stuff because just incase she reads this; Sam from Nintendo tree house, I <3 you ;)

Looks like a beginning area more for exploration and they have only shown a little bit. Im not a big fan of the galaxy games so a 3 would have been dissapointing for me, that style has been done twice already. Think this game is more for fans of the 64 and Sunshine style of game

I mean, I pretty much think you're a complete heathen for not liking the Galaxy games but OK :D

Its not that I don't like them its more that I prefer the 64 and Sunshine style. Each to their own I can see now why you would be underwhelmed with this new one.

Mario Run aside, it'll be interesting to see what the first post Mario Maker 2d Mario platformer will be like.

Very happy we're getting the 64/ Sunshine successor though. There's something about them that the other kinds can't replicate for me.
 
Co-op has been confirmed. One person controls Mario, the other controls Cappy.
