I regret two panicky, sideways trades that blew up in my face this weekend. Got rid of my favourite young player in Luke Parker because I feared his broken jaw would have him playing a lesser outside game (as appeared to be the case against Freo) and Duffman because I didn't think he'd get up after being taken to hospital the week before with a suspected punctured lung! Both players got the ton. Hurn and Masten did OK too, but I would rather have the 2 trades back.

Broughton to Dempsey will probably be one of the most popular regrets. Not so much because of the scores but the long term injury to Fyfe.

Regret choosing Fyfe and Martin. Thought they were too expensive but wasn't brave enough to pick N Riewoldt and Jetta as I wanted to.

Regret not picking Stanton, as I have every other year.

Somewhat regret Mumford over NN. Early days I know.

Fyfe was worth the coin but sadly he got injured. I agree with Dustin Martin being too expensive though. What was I thinking? I had Jordan Lewis in my team until the last minute.

Seriously..... next year I'm going to spend a lot less time ****ing with my team. Most of my last minute decisions have burnt me, particularly dropping Brad Ebert and putting Petrie in my forward line (thought he'd be a little unique). The Broughton -> Lake trade I just did hurts a little right now too, but should help me in the long run.

I thought Cunnington was a good price.

I kind of regret Cox, not that he's going bad or anything, but he'll drop a fair bit in price probably and I could have used the cash elsewhere. Also regret rolling the dice with Jack Riewoldt. Yuck.

Martin was one but got rid of him for Scott Selwood before the price change. I would like to have that trade back as it was Martin who came in on the 11th hour for Selwood in Round 1.

Dempsey. I knew he was injury prone and brought him in last week.

I've got to trust my judgment a little more and I'd actually do pretty well.

Ha! Asking myself the same question. Just looking at the top team major difference is a couple of extra mid-pricers. That and not playing the right rookies has cost me.

Can't really call Broughton > Dempsey a regret yet, given Broughton has only managed the one 100+ against horrid opposition, while Dempsey is still playing this week...

A bit the same. I have previously done very well by not screwing around with rucks, just buying in the big guns and set'n'forget. This year went Cox and Mummy, and it's not a disaster... or even a problem... but there's $1.2M I arguably should have spent elsewhere had I know Giles and some other mid- cheapie-rucks were going to stand up so well.

I'm kind of regretting getting Cox too, his scores haven't been terrible but still not worthy of his price tag and he is going to drop a bit in value. He looked great in the NAB Cup and I was expecting him to kill it but he has been a bit lacklustre so far. Hopefully a big game against Hawthorn will bring out the best in him.

Also regretting Dustin Martin, just hasn't been worth the money but going to stick with him for at least another week as I have a couple of other trades I want to make. If he comes good this week I might hang on to him.

I wouldnt be too worried about Smedts he will be back soon. Dont know what is going on with Ledger, but after a loss, maybe Watters will have a change of heart.

I think his first few weeks will be best, as Hodge and Smith come back he will get less midfield time
