I'm having a shocker all round though. Scotland, dustin Martin, shiel on field, the list goes on. Not ready to neck myself yet though. That'll come after next round

Having Adam Kennedy as a non-emergency forward, scoring 104

Tim Mohr scoring 86, with my 2 field players in Clarke and Ellis only 100 between them

Playing the wrong rookies...Shiel over Mcdonald especially as I swapped him out at the last second, but also Ellis over Mohr, Smith over Kennedy cost me a combined 152 pts.

Aside from that picking Morris instead of well...anyone else. Will probably cost me a trade.

Mainly bench issues for me. McDonald on bench, Shiel starting. Bugg on bench, Ellis starting. Didn't get Morris or Yagmoor. Hoping Boumann bounces back, but if I need to take action I've got $74k there to play with.

Its round 1. Bench mistakes will happen with rookies. For example, I started yagmoor.

Some of my premiums didn't fire but it is a long season. Mumford, martin, shaw for example. However they didn't flop either

Hale for kruezer may be something I need to rectify. Carazzo looks like an inspired choice ahead of broughton and scotland

Mitchell as a premium centre also a good choice

No pendles, no care. I'll buy him when he is worth 620k. He won't score 170 every week and therefore his price has to drop

Same as quite a few other Supercoashers;
1) Wrong captain Mumford
2) And playing the wrong rookies, leaving Kennedy and Mohr on the bench.
Hopefully Swan, Goodes, Mumford and Martin pick their games up, they each feel well under their '11 averages. I'm not panicking yet. But it's clear I have some work to do.

Had Mitchell and Golby in since day one. Traded them out for Watson and M Clarke so I could spend money elsewhere. Regretting trading out Mitchell!

Regret not removing Shaw, before lock out. I wanted Birchall, but was fluffing around and forgot to change him back. Also wanted 2 mid pricers, but ended up with 1. That meant that Ellis was on the ground with Boumann on the bench.

I can see Mohr coming back in to fix up the mess I made of the back rookies.

Birchall was everywhere last night, 28 touches 9 marks and 1 goal for 103 SC points whilst Shaw had a shocker by his standards 16 touches 3 marks and a goal for 90 SC points

Only 13 point difference... happy with Shaw

Don't think anyone's written him off yet, just looks like a mistake starting him (at this early stage)

martin will do well. had rioli last year and it was frustrating to lose him twice for 4 weeks or so because of his hamstrings. will probably play 24 this year no doubt. either that, i end up deciding to bring him in as an upgrade later on and he does a hammy not long after.

Don't understand all this 'regret' over players who scored in the 90's.

When guys like Shaw and Martin actually have a decent game, they'll be 120+....

Last-minute bringing in of a rookie I've not thought much about because he's been picked to play, replacing one who is missing this week, but has been in my squad since day one. Hello Yagmoor, goodbye Smedts
It may all work out of course, which is why I don't regret it yet, but jesus wept- 6 points? At least he was on the bench...

And anyway- putting the C on Pendles yesterday afternoon has pleased me no end
