Anyone still watching this?? Just got very interesting!

Watched this season's premiere, but must admit I'm happy for it to be a binge show now.

As I said in a previous post, the show's popularity, and continual renewal has (strangely) hurt the narrative a bit (i.e. feels like there's less on the line, because there's always a new way to save characters).

Definitely interested in this new development though. will have to catch up :thumbsu:

Lost interest at the end of series 10.

Was a great show early on and then went off the boil

Last couple of seasons had a bit of a decline but S13 has been back to form.

Like Spud said the renewal of show def hurts the narrative. The show has a nice little mythology its built up, so it deserved to go out on a bang and not fizzle out.

Could have honestly ended after Season 5... Up there with Breaking Bad S4 as one of my favourite seasons of TV.

Does anyone think they could ever re-watch Supernatural? In theory, I'd love to rewatch it, especially early on when those more powerful creatures actually meant something and they were following an actual storyline.

On the other hand, I would struggle big time watching them whilst they look so young compared to what they are now.

I could probably rewatch the first 4 or so seasons. Definitely the first 2. After that not so much.

Too long now for a re-watch, I barely have the time to watch it now and some other shows let alone going back and re-watching 13 seasons of it!

I could, but I'd stop after S5 :)

Ok, just finished episode seven of the current season, and I'm back on board Team Freewill 2.0
Don't mind Billie as the new Death - now that she sees the bigger picture.
Gimme more Lucifer & multiverse Michael. A weakened Lucifer sets up some interesting narrative options. I can actually see him saving the day in the end.
The 'empty' made for some interesting scenes. Would love for that to come into play again this season, but somehow I don't think it will. Unlessssss Lucifer is killed.
Haven't hit the 'All-girl' episode yet. Heard that got smashed.

Binging the most recent eps now.

Man, the actors playing Jack and Mary are really woeful in S13E20.
At the start of the season, I get it, Jack needs to act like a kid in an adult's body.
But now, it's so cringe. Every. Word. Is. Just. So. Slow.

Jensen and Jarrad doing the best they can after 13 seasons. Sam's dialogue battles at times.

Great to have Gabrielle back. Since S5, nothing gets me more excited for this show than the mention/appearance on Arch angels.

I was thinking to myself today, I'm surprised they haven't brought out 'jesus' yet given we've just about had every other possible thing - heck, we've had god's sister....

The other thing with the angels, I can't help but think back to when they were first introduced, seem to remember them having so much power. Now they're just like humans with a guaranteed angel blade.

Thought I lucked out on a double ep this week but some places just uploaded the ep numbers wrong :(

Loved the circle back to season 5, was pretty cool, although I think, like usual it will get resolved in the next few episodes of next season.

Hope next season is the last so it can go out on a high but think it rates pretty well still.

just started watching from Season 1, man it's so gritty and dark compared to recent seasons, Demons are actually powerful and menacing, show was at its best in Season 2 - 5 IMO
For memory, angels were pretty sick when they came onto the scene. Now both demons and angels are humans with fancy weapons pretty much.
