Well, that was a thoroughly enjoyable two weeks off. Won a medal and a trophy or two. Lots of parties, and B&F ceremonies to attend (Hint: The Baghdad one is alcohol-free. Avoid.)
Hey look. ^^^ Brand new prefix! Suits this thread perfectly...
Basically, this will be a FANTASY DRAFT game, where all CAPTAINS will have a team of 8 SFA players, whose DT points throughout SFA S23 will accumulate to give each player a total round score. There will be opportunities to multiply your round scores through a CHALLENGE system. You will also be able to TRADE your players with other Captains, or to DELIST & SIGN available players in the DRAFT POOL.
So, for now, I'm just looking for players who want to sign up, will be available to answer 4 tags in the first 3 weeks of January to select their teams and will be active in trading players and challenging other captains throughout SFA S23. Unlike the games' inaugural season, I will limit numbers for S23 to 48 Captains. Preference will be given to players who have proven their willingness to play by being active in S22. I know who you are.
The final 48 players will not necessarily be the first 48 who sign up.
To sign up to play, simply like this post. Yes, I am a shameless like whore. Each successive stage will have further information, but it is a simple, fun and interactive game to play. You may participate as much or as little as you wish – if you do not Trade players, your team will remain as selected throughout the season.
The other purpose of this thread is as a discussion thread, especially for those captains who actively participated last season. If you have any ideas about how the game could have been better run or set up, let's get it sorted out before the season starts. I already have some ideas that I would appreciate feedback on:

- Scrap the HOHA challenge. I think there was only a single HOHA challenge for the entire first season
- Make each challenge a challenge where the combatants are playing for each others' scores, instead of doubling their own. (So If I'm playing against Sterge, and his team only scores 48 points, I get only those 48 points added onto my score. But if I'm playing The Filth Wizard, and he scores 480 points but loses, I get his 480 points as well) This stops people from taking the easy challenges for big bonuses
- Allow captains to trade themselves out if they wish
- Have a bonus points system where each Captain can nominate a player who will record double points each week, not just in finals
- Have a 28-team finals system, where the top 4 ranked teams get the first week of finals off and automatic passage into the second round (S22 Champion Cloud_'s suggestion)
