Hi Ant Bear

I have recently been informed that I have not received an invitation to return to your esteemed competition in this, the twenty-third season of the SFA. I believe this to be justified by the fact that I was considered 'inactive'.

I would like to apply to defend my crown. It is important that you do not severely underestimate the talent which it took to do what I did in this competition last season. Without performing a single trade, or taking a single challenge which I would have undoubtedly lost, I still staved off tough competitors such as Sterge (pretty sure) for the honour of being the inaugural wooden spooner of your competition. And not by some small margin; I lost by a significant margin, the magnitude of which I am too lazy to look up.

And that lack of application and commitment is something you can not do without in this next edition of your competition. Ant Bear, no matter your final decision, I will retain my love for you and your work. However, I feel it is desperately important that my presence in this competition is included, or the integrity of the league comes severely into question, and I wouldn't be surprised if every contestant withdraws in protest.
