What I'd really like to see at the end of all this is for a full government inquiry into how the AFL handled this whole situation and also on how the AFL is run and handles any situation. Can the Government do that as part of their "sport classification guidelines" (obviously AFL still want to be treated as a competitive sport governed by rules (which are supposed to apply equally to all) - think gambling $, govt $, govt facilities etc etc)?

IMO it seems too many things get swept under the carpet which only leads to worse things happening. In management its called "drawing a line in the sand" and being truly transparent, but they seem to always want to take the quick easy way, which most often does not solve the underlying issue and only results in it arising again but ten times worse.

Damn, just realised what I said - the AFL is an exact replica of our Government - they always say you get the government you deserve.

Check the latest headlines. The Gillard government were right in amongst it. They'll conduct an inquiry for ya, I bet I can predict the outcome too.

If you want to talk Government corruption Abbot's chaplaincy program was going to pay James 245 million a year just so Aussie students got a first hand experience with Christ.

Just noticed that a section of Essendon fans are starting another campaign to #Backtheboys after the beyond delusional #standbyhird last year.

My question is why don't the supporters of the other 17 clubs band together and start a campaign urging Essendon to stop supporting drug cheats, stop being selfish, stop dragging the game through the mud and above all stop IFJH ever being involved in the AFL again at any level.

Regardless of whether they get off on a technicality, what Hird and his cronies have done cannot be condoned by the AFL or any of the clubs on any level.

Let's let the Bombers know what EVERYONE else thinks and stop them and their media flag wavers dictating the agenda.

The delusion of Essendon supporters is so strong. The more this drags on, the more I hope the players get 2 years and Hird gets banned from any involvement in the AFL, including a permaban from the HOF.

However, I'm happy for the process to run its course. I don't think we need to be pushing it along.

And if they come out with no more punishment than they have now, that will be OK as long as it is a transparent process of how this occurred. I'll be pissed if they weasel out of it through technicalities. Then I'll get on the #cleanAFL campaign...

So which one of you are going to set it up?

Who's getting them made, funding the costs, picking them up then handing them out at games?

Will it be all games? Any specific game? Essendon home game?

How many do you plan to make?

Let me know, I'll make sure I grab one.
