The Supreme Court on Thursday refused to limit access to a widely used abortion medication, rejecting a challenge from antiabortion doctors two years after the court’s conservative majority overturned Roe v. Wade on procedural grounds.
In a unanimous ruling, the court sided with the Biden administration and the manufacturer of mifepristone, and reversed a lower court decision that would have made it more difficult to obtain the drug used in more than 60 percent of U.S. abortions. The ruling was not on the substance of the case, but on a procedural ruling the plaintiffs did not have standing to bring the case.

This could be temporary if a new trump health secretary decides to revive this case , judges may consider them having standing

Justice Clarence Thomas never disclosed three trips aboard the private jet of the Texas billionaire Harlan Crow, according to documents obtained by the Senate Judiciary Committee.
The documents, which Democrats on the panel obtained after they issued subpoenas, list three visits that have not been previously been reported: one to a city in Montana, near Glacier National Park, in 2017; another to his hometown, Savannah, Ga., in March 2019; and another to Northern California in 2021.
The purpose of each trip was not immediately clear, nor was the reason for their omission on the justice’s disclosure forms. However, all of the flights involve short stays: two were round trips that did not include an overnight stay.

Another ruling for the gun owners
The Supreme Court struck down on Friday a ban on bump stocks enacted by the Trump administration after a deadly mass shooting in Las Vegas in 2017.
By a vote of 6 to 3, with the court splitting along ideological lines, the justices found that the Trump administration had exceeded its power when it prohibited the device, an attachment that enables a semiautomatic rifle to fire at a speed rivaling that of a machine gun.

Saw a report somewhere, there will be more challenges for sure, mostly through state's courts that will move up to SCOTUS eventually. They will be like the state sponsored hackers hitting secured system with thousands of attempts a minute, until some get through.
As the hypocritical evidence continues to come out on how conservatives would still support some sort of abortion, especially for family and friends, I think these crusaders are in it for the fight, not just the issue. They've got the scent of blood and they will not be dissuaded by actual negative health consequences.

I think that the 6 needed a court room demonstration.

Watched a gun expert demonstrate and it is frightening. Why would you need it except maybe for another massacre.

Gov. Jeff Landry signed legislation on Wednesday requiring the display of the Ten Commandments in every public classroom in Louisiana, making the state the only one with such a mandate and reigniting the debate over how porous the boundary between church and state should be.
Critics, including the American Civil Liberties Union and the Freedom From Religion Foundation, vowed a legal fight against the law they deemed “blatantly unconstitutional.” But it is a battle that proponents are prepared, and in many ways, eager, to take on.

When this law is challenged all the way to the supreme court , the decision wont be a shock

Your church should issue a challenge that your rules must be posted as well. Teach the debate.

Abortion and emergency care
Immunity for Presidents (let's not forget this isn't just for Trump but for all subsequent Presidents).
Alas my feeling is re immunity will be kicked back to another court for review :(

Another abortion ruling leaked

The Supreme Court seems poised to temporarily allow emergency abortions in Idaho when a woman’s health is at risk, according to a copy of what appeared to be the opinionposted briefly on the court’s website.
The unsigned opinion says that the case was “dismissed as improvidently granted,” according to the 22-page document, which was posted by Bloomberg News.
Such a decision would reinstate a ruling by a lower federal court that had paused Idaho’s near-total ban on abortion and said hospitals in the state could perform emergency abortions if necessary to protect the health of the mother.

In case you missed this one

The Supreme Court limited the sweep of a federal law on Wednesday aimed at public corruption, ruling that it did not apply to gifts and payments meant to reward actions taken by state and local officials.
The 6-to-3 ruling, which split along ideological lines, was the latest in a series of decisions cutting back federal anti-corruption laws.
Justice Brett M. Kavanaugh, writing for a conservative majority, said that the question in the case was whether federal law makes it a crime for state and local officials to accept such gratuities after the fact. He wrote, “The answer is no.”
Federal prosecutors’ interpretation of the law created traps for public officials, leaving them to guess what gifts were allowed, he added. If they guessed wrong, the opinion continued, the officials could face up to a decade in prison.

Not Amazing as alito and thomas are up to their necks with alleged receiving gifts worth millions from republican donors
