A slow and steady session for the cats2rise XI, apparently trying to bore the opposition to death
This has always been the case. There’s no effort to turn the strike over, or target certain bowlers.The sim seems very heavily weighed towards boundaries and dots. Very few singles, twos and threes.

Personally never liked 5 day matches in real life but for a sim it makes little difference really.This was simmed as a 5 day game.

Ohhhh.This was simmed as a 5 day game.
The sim will allow anywhere between a 1 - 9 day game. However, we are still trying to determine whether we go with a 4 day game or 5 day game. Feedback is greatly appreciated
For me, I'm leaning more towards 4 day games, for a few reasons (1) less game time to post, means easier on the match posters (2) will end in a lot of draws, so winning will carry a lot more weight in this game, but there may also be first innings points available as well to balance that out (3) we've been advertising First Class cricket, which all reminds me of 4 day cricket. Maybe the final or special games can go to five games.Personally never liked 5 day matches in real life but for a sim it makes little difference really.
