Latest on the increased soft cap for coaches - which is actually sweet fa.

Even though it works less in our favour as we have grown, I strongly support equalisation measures. I think they help make the footy more fun to watch.

No idea how soft cap works but could we lean on our sponsors to potentially also have some 'ambassadorial' role for the assistant coaches for extra $$$

Realestate.com.au - rent assistance
Volkswagen- hire car assistance
Qbe - insurance discounts
Qatar - ambassador role $$$

You work at Geelong?

Any clue as to who our new line coach might be? Those with "sources"?

This bloke.

Once again we are "looking to grow & improve from within" while all our competitors look to grab people that will make them better.
Why wouldn't we promote from within? Our fitness was elite last season, I'd much rather stick with someone who knows the club and the players than bring someone in who will force change for no reason than to make an impact.

Besides, we will still need to find his replacement. Where do you think we will find that? Think we'll promote Reid to Lehane's position?

It hasn't worked BS.
"Growth from within" doesn't work. We think as a club we are ahead but it was proven we aren't on GF day.
I guess the club are happy to stay the same with shiny new facilities that have a nice fuzzy feel about it every time someone walks in.
It clearly hasn't worked, IMO of course.
