DermiesLuvChild inspired me to do a shitty photoshop.

Pity about the total lack of neck, thanks Luke Ball.

Scott Lucas is the CEO of Phoenix, this Winston guy is a player agent there. In earlier articles Lucas had been referred to as his manager but I'd say Rous is actually his manager.

Most definitely would, Richmond will come knocking with theirs one pick later.
Then there is no point us taking him when we can simply select out own players with picks 10 and 11. Adams isn't that special that we need to pick him.

we don't need Adam's really when we can get Salem and freeman because i have a feeling crouch lennon and sheed will be picked just befor our pick's. but im happy with them two as pacey and play in same tac cup team.

179cm? Why the hell not? We don't have enough short people, let's get some more!

Was really excited until I saw that he's vertically challenged, we seem to always be into players of slighter frame.

Going off his statistics, though (didn't watch that many GWS games in full, they tended to be over as a contest by halftime a lot), it doesn't stop him from getting the footy.

And it looks almost certain Thomas is moving on, so good to see we're looking at being active in the trading period, even if Adams can't be classed as a direct replacement. Bugger it, can't hurt...

They may want a player but Martin may make them think twice. The other thing is if we traded any Thomas compo pick to GWS, then that potentially becomes a pick 6 if they finish 5th next year, or pick 5 if they finish 4th etc.

That's good trade.
I was under the impression that any compo gained from a player leaving via free agency had to be used that year, ie. doesn't carry over to the next year.
On Adems, he is a quality young player and would love him on our list, he's not going to help with our hight issue only standing at 180cm tho ;-)

I'd take him tomorrow if we could get him, with Luke Ball and Swanny close to moving out of that midfield due to age (Swanny will go forward, Ball retire) we need more than just one replacement in the middle.

Adams is a young Luke Ball, if it costs us one first round pick that would be acceptable.

The 179 cm is from the 2011 draft combine try 181cm 86kg

Indeed?

Can't see why we would want him, then, given that he's now over 180 cm and not 170-something cm. How's his kicking? If he can butcher it something chronic, then perhaps we can overlook the unfortunate extra 2 cm and strike up a deal for him...

It's a simple question.

Is Taylor Adams better than the available pick 11?

That's the question to ask.

Obviously he is more developed and has proven he can find the ball. So in that regards he is able to fit straight into a the team and is readymade. However, he is still young enough to have at least 10 years still to play. So it works well on both counts. Allows us to shoot for a premiership, whilst still building for the future.

On the flip side, I don't think he has necessarily set the world on fire and doesn't solve our problems with footskills etc. So if there is better at pick 11 then we'd have to consider.

Obviously this all dependent on us getting pick 11. Daisy may still stay.

It would be a big call to trade our only draft pick considering there seems to be some good players on offer.

The only other option is to trade Heath Shaw really.

I'm all for it if we get the 2 draft picks.

In the plus column, apparently he was a Collingwood supporter as a kid, so if that's true, at least he'd play for the jumper...

Hmm... Karnezis, Adams, to go with Seedsman who has become a semi-regular in the seniors. Buckley seems to be a fan of promoting/trying to recruit childhood Collingwood supporters to play for Collingwood.

I'm available, Bucks! :D
