was there and aside from a few mistakes which are expected from a first gamer, he was certainly impressive all things considering.

Very happy to have him in, could be a good guerra replacement when he retires.

Her's hoping he can be a quality Goo replacement when the time comes

Was a tad fumbly today but many were and it was his first game. However he attacks the ball and has good disposal and solid decision making. Just needs to build on that and should become a decent back pocket type.

Good debut, will improve his composure (and reduce fumbles) with a few more games under his belt.

Had a real crack, and it certainly won't be his last senior game this year.

Liked his game, fumbled a bit but can put that down to the conditions and nerves. What really stood out was that he never looked like he was out of place or lost, knew what he was there for and played his role. Not an easy task to step into a side who are going up against a team with a really strong midfield as a backman but he did really well. Has a good kick on him and I reckon he did more than enough to hold his spot going into next week.

Well done Doc

I think he will be looking forward to a dry track next week.;)

His is a great story of hard work and perseverance.
I hope he stays in next week, his endevour and tackling were first rate, came from nowhere to spoil on a couple of occasions.
Well played Taylor.:thumbsu:

Really good user of the ball (but we knew that already).
Great effort in first game especially against a team like Collingwood...

Another one to look forward to improvement and progress

Super impressed by the way he attacked and killed a couple of contests this arvo. Good toe, athleticism, and he knew he belonged.

Jed and Hilly were good today too. That's essentially three first year players in that game today, and they all brought it.

An upgrade on Suckling from a defensive point of view
Very good call.

The side has a much better balance with no young and suckling.

And Stratts return to elite form has been epic.

Well done today Doc.
I'm sure that nerves played a part in some of his mistakes and I have no problems forgiving him that.
But for the most part I liked what I saw.
He seems like a tough nut and isn't afraid to get in there and get his hands dirty.
Hopefully he gets a chance again next week and it's not one game and then back to BH.
Ah, to have such selection dilemma's. Good luck Clarko!!

I was glad he finally got the opportunity, especially after getting named in the squad against strugglers (from memory GWS was one of them) but not making the final 22. Nice work Taylor - I hope to see much of you in the brown and gold in the future.

He did get the opportunity to be the traveling emergency for the game in Adelaide last year.
