Though I do find it interesting, that Adelaide gets battered from pillar to post (Fairly I'll add) for broken hoops, yet Western Sydney haven't received an ounce of criticism for essentially the same thing.

Vikings never had horns on their helmets. It's a myth that the NFL team popularised.

So an NFL team actually managed to form most (non european) peoples idea of what vikings wore, i think that probably proves the title of the thread better than anything. Imagine if we all believed Dolphins wore helmets, or ducks had hockey masks on, pretty amazing.

Perhaps because sports fans in Sydney have gotten use to seeing the jersey over many years as the Central Coast Bears jersey who are a club trying to get into the NRL.


Surprised that South Sydney's original hoops aren't in this thread yet ....

Gotta agree with the Rabbitoh's uniform, I actually went looking for the Rabbitohs logo cause I always liked that as well but the original has the green and red reversed (and different shades) and it just doesnt work as well.

Always nice to see green and red working so well on a team's uniform .

Yup, cardinal and myrtle hoops since 1908 (with only 2 periods of exception 1945-46 and 1980-84).
